***Currently the front building of the Maravilla is getting a face lift. The construction area is currently next to the front office which is temporarily closed. The only impacted amenity is the gym as it is closed during this time however the Marriott next door is allowing our guest to use their gym. General construction noises may be heard throughout daytime hours only. You may also pass by construction crew members or areas on the property when getting to our condo. You will see typical construction equipment such as scaffolding and areas with boarded plywood on the front building. You might hear some noise during the day from 8 to 5. All construction stops at 5:00pm daily.


***The property is beginning to resurface the main pool. The heated pool will remain open and is set at a nice 92 degrees! Project completion date March 1. The area with the main pool will be closed for the duration of the work including the hot tub. Most of our winter guests only use the heated pool but it is never crowded. It is located across the driveway from the main pool so you will not be disturbed by the work. We have also arranged for our guests to have access to the cold pool next door at the Marriott if you prefer a cold pool.

You will still need to go the to front office to get your swim bands.Enjoy for yourself the great view of the ocean and the lagoon from your private patio! Welcome the morning Sun while sipping your coffee!

Our well-stocked kitchen includes a Keurig and separate coffee pot, blender, toaster and crockpot, as well as cooking supplies and general spices. Convenient breakfast bar for dining and plenty of counter space for serving. If you prefer to dine out, check out our list of favorite restaurants in our condo book on site.

Cozy living room features a comfy sleeper sofa, 55" flat screen TV and additional chairs that provide plenty of seating.

The master bedroom boasts a King bed and a 48" TV.

Twin bunks are just outside the master bedroom and have plugs for tablets and phones as well as their own lights for late night reading.

Spacious, remodeled full bath. Convenient washer and dryer with laundry supplies available for use during your stay. All bath linens and bed sheets are provided. The master and both twin beds are ready upon arrival with additional linens for the sofa bed.

The Maravilla complex has 3 pools plus a hot tub you can enjoy. The beautiful resort pool is one of the largest on Galveston Island and a guest favorite. There is a smaller kiddie pool with a beach entry and on the east side the third pool is heated in the winter months. Three elevators serve the complex, and the "Sea Horse" elevator provides the closest access to the unit.

The Maravilla is a Pet friendly complex. Maravilla now has an amazing new DOG PARK located on the Westside of Building G. You and your guests can take your pet(s) to the park, let them off their leash to run, jump and enjoy their Beach Vacation too. The Dog Park has a doggie shower, toys (Frisbees, hula-hops) obstacle courses, fire hydrant and so much more for your fur-babies to enjoy. Benches are located through-out the park so you can sit and watch them play. Pet stations are on the far Westside of the park and we ask that you please pickup after them. When exiting the Dog Park we ask that you pick up the toys your pet has played with and secure the gate.. In addition; hand sanitizer station is located at the exit of the park.

NOTE: We have also added an Doggie Shower on the driveway side of the EAST POOL, so that you can rinse off your pets after going to the beach and before entering your condo. No aggressive breeds, weight limit is 30 pounds.

Covered parking as well as additional parking is available - parking is $10 per day per car for your entire stay and must be purchased in the Maravilla office when you arrive.

The ocean is directly across the street, and the beach widens as you head left towards Jimmy's on the Pier. Whether you're looking for a romantic weekend getaway, a weekend away with friends or a fun-filled family adventure, our condo is a great place to relax and enjoy your vacation!

For your convenience we have included a wagon that you are welcome to use to get to and from the beach. All we ask is that you rinse it off before returning to the condo.
