The picture of the hotel did not match the one online. Noisy being right next to main rd. Pool and hot tub needed to be cleaned and pool would have been nice if heated

The property is a bit run down. Hot tub did not work. The concrete ramp running up to rooms is crumbling looks like a health hazard. Tv was not good. Picture fuzzy hardly any channels.

The balcony over the river was nice. The sound was amazing. The fridge was huge. The heater on the bathroom was nice. There was a baking dog in one room. I know it's not the hotels fault, but one should know there may be pets in this motel. The bed was pretty good, not fantastic. Great location. It was easy to walk to Annakeesta, and restaurants, and shops. A shirt drive to everywhere.

My family enjoyed the the friendly service from Megan and the staff at the Gatlinburg River Inn. The Room was satisfactory the beds were comfortable, sheets and bedding clean. The bathroom was clean and well equipped with towels and body soap,shampoo and conditioner. Hair dryer the normal amenities. The pool and hot tub were a bit dated but working and clean. The location is perfect right next to the water. Right in walking distance from everything. A nice chill area next to the water with fire pits and chairs. Very cool and peaceful. Breakfast fare was average and nice selection. I do have some suggestions for The Gatlinburg River Inn. A smoking area added to the office side of the building. As it is a great inconvenience to have to walk all the way around the building to go out for a quick smoke. You can not smoke on your balcony. The only other suggestion I have is please upgrade the quality of your toilet paper. I would recommend this place and I would stay again. Thank you to the great ladies in the office you are tops in my book.

Not terrible

Booked 5 nights. It had a nice view. The breakfast was limited including compared to similar stays Ive had. Water pressure wasn't bad. Most of the staff seemed friendly. I had difficulty getting my room refreshed. I called twice over 2 days and my sheets weren't changed even though we accidentally got some pieces of the dead ants that were on the floor wgen we entered the room on the bed. When the beds weren't done after the second request, we spoke to the staff member at the front desk and he informed me he doesn't "do housekeeping" but we as the guests could. We wanted clean linens without bug parts on them. He gave us replacement linens and told us where to take the dirty linens. My mother is disabled so I was grateful that the guest in the room next door was able to help me change the sheets. The linens were stained (urine?bleach?) but appeared washed. We spoke to the manager the following morning and she was friendly but denied seeing the bugs, however, after my second request for housekeeping they were gone. After my third request, they did provide more housekeeping services but left the wash rags in the tub. Overall, it wasnt terrible. The beds in the queen double were comfortable. I didn't see any other pests etc. The balcony view was really nice.

Mountain stay

We stayed on the fourth floor had the balcony of the river. I liked it because it did not have carpet in the room. Everything was clean and comfortable. They had a hot breakfast eggs, gravy biscuits, and meat and waffles. Very close to the town of Gatlinburg. You can walk or there’s a trolley ride outside to pick you up.

Gatlinburg stay.

The hotel is in a great location. The carpet by our room was filthy and we had no closet with hangers or an ironing board. The bathtub is very dated and needs replaced. The breakfast was good. Some oatmeal and pastries would be a nice addition.

Not the best, we booked this hotel while on the road in a pinch for a single night... thank goodness it was only one night. We paid online...non refundable, but upon arrival at check in, the front clerk said there is another charge for the taxes and fees? The rooms have been remodeled, but its still an old hotel. There are far better options for a few dollars more.

Great location

Room was clean and comfortable. Location was excellent. The outside needs some care. Loved being on the water and on the trolley stop. Walked across the bridge for a great dinner at their sister hotel.
