This is not about the hotel, but about the area in general. Golden is pretty remote and a small town. We did eat dinner there a couple nights and used the grocery store but there isn't much else right there without driving a way. It was an easy (45 min?) drive to Yoho where we ended up both days we were there.

Very clean and refurbished hotel. Also very quiet. There is a Ricky 's restaurant on the property. The room was spacious with very comfortable beds and great pillows. Would definitely recommend.

As with most properties in the area it is a bit aged but bath tubs appear redone and overall comfortable and clean stay. Pool is a good size for actual swimming.

The hotel is very clean and well maintained. Even though it sits alongside Hwy 1 the street-side room was quiet. Dining options are limited in the immediate vicinity, but a short drive to downtown has plenty of options.

Hotel is conveniently located along restaurant strip just off highway. Demand for hotels in this area is high so even though I booked well ahead of travel what should have been a $200 room cost us $420. Coffee maker in room did not work. No breakfast included in the high rate. Average room with comfortable beds. Restaurant on site is a nice option but rooms are overpriced in this whole area.

We had a room that overlooked the parking lot and highway. So the rooms on front of the building face the highway, but it's not loud. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I've stayed in a long time. The room was clean and beautiful!
