The staff were very pleasant and it was conveniently located to the highway. The hotel was in good condition, clean and comfy. The bathroom was definitely dated and there is a train somewhere close that can be easily heard sometimes but overall, it was a good experience.

Super convenient off highway. Easy parking. Friendly staff. Outdoor pool, and complimentary snacks (Fri & Sat) and quick breakfast. Microwave in room and good size “mini” fridge with great working little freezer for ice packs! Ac works great in room, black out curtains and can’t hear neighbors. Thanks!

I booked a stay at the Quality Inn hotel through Expedia, expecting a decent experience based on the recommendation and rate. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. I checked in around 1 AM, and the next morning, I wasn’t feeling well. I called the front desk and politely asked for a late checkout of just 30 extra minutes — until 11:30 AM instead of 11:00. The front desk clerk, Brenda, was rude and dismissive, insisting I leave by 11 because “others were waiting for the room.” Yet when I walked out, I saw many rooms were clearly unoccupied — especially surprising for a Sunday, when hotels are usually less busy. I wasn’t asking for much — just a little understanding and flexibility. Instead, I received poor customer service and no empathy. This was not a good recommendation by Expedia, and I would not stay here again or suggest it to others.

Beware of FEES!

As being a pet owner I always expect a fee to come along with my stay however I think $25 a night for a 3lb chihuahua is a little outrageous when the hotel itself is already nowhere close to a 4 or 5 star and upon checking in you can’t even walk around in your room without shoes or your feet/socks are instantly black, Also take note that if you decide to stay any additional nights outside of what you booked on this app, you will pay another $50.00 deposit per night on top of what you paid at checking in. Staff onsite were kind and assisted if we needed anything but the fees for this hotel and the area I will not be staying again on my frequent visits to Kenly!
