Granada Adventure

This was a wonderful city flat, very clean, old world charm with modern furnishings. We had a great time and the location was close to all necessary services. It was wonderful to walk around day or night. Pedro was a great host!

Super clean, great communication!

We booked this condo based on the free parking. I will say that the condo was very clean and the host was amazing with communication. He met us at check in, gave us detailed instructions and left a book with maps for us. The pictures are a little misleading, they make the unit look big and bright. When we walked in it was dark in there with not much natural light. The bathrooms were updated with nice showers and fixtures but the towels were terrible. They were old and “crunchy”. Maybe fabric softener is not popular in Spain, but we didn’t have this issue anywhere else on our trip. As far as the free parking, you get a parking pass to a public garage that is about a half mile away. You can drop your bags off at the condo but have to move the car asap. For us it wasn’t an issue because we don’t mind walking, but keep that in mind if you have mobility issues. The location was good for exploring on foot. There is A LOT of graffiti in the area, but we noticed that throughout Spain. Not sure why?

Well located, big space and very clean

Great location and very comfortable

The apartment was close to all major attractions. It was clean, spacious, and the beds were comfortable. Pedro was kind and helpful. There was construction noise from the apartment next to us, but only during the day. The only thing we wished for was an automatic drip coffeemaker or Nescafe.

Hidden Haven

This was a wonderful base for exploring Granada. This location is tucked away in a quiet well-lit neighborhood. Pedro was on-hand to help with checking in and getting set up. The apartment was clean with newly renovated bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and the rooms had plenty of storage space. Easy access to shopping, restaurants and the Alhambra. The TV reception for English channels was a bit garbled, but other than that everything was well cared for. While the patio had no view, and the furnishings simple, the outdoor space was a nice to have a spot to sit outdoors.

Great location with garage parking

Good place

The place was good size and clean. Owner provided shower products, which is nice, and also lots of toilet paper (seems stupid but a lot of places only give you one roll...and it is an inconvenience). Brand new bathrooms with super comfortable showers. Check in was easy and communication with owner very easy too. He was very nice and saved us a parking spot around the corner. The place is close to the center. My only complaints would be that the street is a little run down (except this building) and that the WIFI doesn’t reach all rooms.

Nice place in Granada with Family

Just stayed here for 3 nights with our 3 kids and 4 adults. We had a great time and the place is clean and well maintained in a quiet neighbourhood but still very central. We had a wonderful time in Granada and it's nice being so close to all of the sites - walked everywhere from the apartment. Thanks again!

Well Appointed Apt. Close to All the Action

Our family of five spent two nights in this spacious and well appointed apartment close to the historical center and a 30 minute walk to the main gate of the Alhambra. The apartment is on the main floor and if you need parking as we did, Pedro had two great free options. We walked everywhere and although the Alhambra is a bit of hike, it is very doable. Thanks for a great stay, Pedro! Highly recommend!

The location of the apartment was very central and Pedro made sure we knew where to go in order to meet our expectations. Nice roomies and bathrooms, showers, and well stocked kitchen. The welcoming bottle of wine was an unexpected surprise along with the orange juice,etc. Negative was on a bed it was extremely soft and unsupportive and I mentioned to Pedro and he was appreciative of the comment. Pedro gave us free parking and all the help you could need in getting to the best places to visit with maps.

Large spacious apartment in central location

Excellent communication with host Pedro and great informative greeting by his son Enrique who speaks very good English. Pedro connected both before and during our visit and offered lots of info about Granada and good suggestions for excursions. Free parking provided in a large lot about 7 minutes walk away. Easy to drop bags off in front of the apartment and then move car. Well equipped ground floor apartment on quiet street, not far from center of old city.

We are two couples spending a month traveling around Spain. The apartment was the perfect location and apartment to base in Ganada. Pedro, and his sons, were wonderful. Enrique met us at the apartment and gave us detailed information on places to see and restaurants to visit. We even have a gluten free and a vegetarian in our group, and he gave us some information on how to find places for them to eat. We will stay there again if we are back the area.

Great getaway in granada

From the first moment pedro and enrique were welcoming and explained everything to us about the apartment and granada. They were also on hand for any of our queries. The apartment is well located, spacious, well laid out and spotless. Bathrooms and bedrooms are comfortable and modern. Only constructive comment is the curtain/blinds need to be complete blockout to deal with the outside sensor light which comes on throughout the night as residents return home. Granada is a fabulous town, the Alhambra and Albaicin standout destinations. The bars and nightlife are humming until the small hours and do take in a flamenco performance if you can.

Cosy comfortable house in the centre of all attractions

Granada is a beautiful vibrant city with delicious food. Our house was in a very quiet street. Clean,cool and comfortable. Everything was in good working condition. Very conveniently located with maximum of 20 min walking to all attractions as well as some excellent restaurants. Supermarket is very close. Most importantly Pedro and his son was so helpful. They had all the maps marked out for us with directions on how to get to places. We could call him anytime with a question and he would answer immediately. Pedro called and organised all our taxi transport as well We highly recommend this house. Thanks Pedro.

Not as expected. Congested street & Apartment in a commercial area with graffity on the walls.

Overall, we were pretty disappointed with the neighborhood and the apartment. The pictures do not describe the place correctly. During this trip, we rented two apartments (one in the South Benalmedina and another in the North Cordoba) and we were very happy with both rentals. However, this apartment in Granada was a disappointment. The owner was however friendly and explained the tourist information to us. He brought us extra towels per request. But I do not recommend this place to anyone for the following reasons: 1. The area is NOT a "quiet suburb" as stated by the owner (we would not call it a suburb in the US). It is in fact in a mixed Commercial/Industrial /residential neighborhood. The street is not with "little traffic" as described by the owner either. As you enter the area, your tension goes up when you are greeted with GRAFFITI all over the neighborhood walls and as you enter the street you see a BIG TRASH COLLECTOR right in front of the apartment building. Not so appealing. 2. The street is very congested and it was clear that the neighbors were not happy that the owner is renting the place. The time we arrived, one of the residents in the same building (a taxi driver) got very mad that we were unloading and he could not get in his parking (due to the narrow street). It was very frustrating because the owner could not even communicate with him easily. Second day, a neighbor who lives across the street had a temper and clearly showed he was unhappy with visitors as we wanted to enter the building. 3. The apartment layout is very poor. The picture shown in the profile is taken from an angle that it gives an impression that the room is big. But in fact, it is very congested. Mattresses and pillows were old. My neck was stiff the next day due to the saggy bed and pillow. Furthermore, the rooms did not have adequate plugs for electronics. 4. The kitchen utensils and plates were not properly cleaned upon arrival. 5. One parking was promised to be in the same building. But it was not. We had to drive quite a few blocks to park in a parking lot. 7. Upon arrival the owner filled out bunch of documentation that needed passport, ID and whole lot of legal info. I was not comfortable providing this personal info to him but had no choice. He also collected cash for one additional person. I had communicated the additional person to him in advance and this was not out of expectation.

Cool and Comfortable

My family of five stayed here for a couple of nights on a tour of Spain. Our host was very prompt and helpful when we arrived. The apartment was a cool oasis on the hot days in Granada. We were within walking distance of everything we wanted to see, and there were great restaurants very close by, as well as shopping and grocery markets. The apartment was comfortable, and although we only used the kitchen sparingly, it was well equipped. Highly recommended!

Homey, well equipped place with lots of room

Built around a cute patio, this place was very clean and as described. Lots of room and a nice big table for our whole group. Both bathrooms were brand new and spacious. The kitchen that was equipped to cook for a group. Pedro was a great host and very helpful. Good location in a nice neighborhood just off the Main Street. We came in later at night and they were accommodating. We did have some neighbors talking loudly late into the night which was a bit irritating but other than that, it was nice.
