First time visitors

This property is very special. If you are looking for an authentic experience in Granada- this is your place! Make no mistake- this area of Granada is not for the faint of heart! Tricky if older, have lots of luggage or dont like to climb. But magical to explore. Home is comfortable and has an AMAZING ambience, amazing views. Gloria is a helpful and available host who answered all of our questions. Definitely recommend!

Must see city and place to stay

Such a beautiful city and this place allowed us to enjoy it to max. Views out every window and balcony were as good as any public area, but without the crowds. Gloria was very accommodating and the home was so very well decorated. Highly recommend unless unable to climb hills and stairs.

Fantastic view and property. Would stay again

This property is stunning. And with the views across the Albaicin and the Alhambra its a breathtaking spot to spend time in. The property is large with 2 areas to relax in as well as a kitchen space. The ceilings are exposed beams so beautiful and add character. The instructions to get to the property are compex, but were easy to follow. I would say thay anyone with limited mobility or fitness issues, this property is in an old neighbourhood with cobbles and narrow streets on steep paths. There is no lift which it confirms in the property details. We loved our stay in Granada and would happily stay in this property again.

Spacious and immersed in the culture

We had a lovely stay. There was plenty of room to spread out for our blended family with two teens. The immersion in historic Granada was perfect - with the incredible views, and winding Albacin neighborhood at the doorstep. We could walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. (There are hills which we knew.) The apartment had everything we needed, and it was perfectly clean.

Beautiful apartment in a magic city

We had a wonderful time in Granada, and the apartment is beautiful, nicely decorated, and well located, and the view is simply delightful.There was an unfortunate problem with the wifi and wifi extender during our stay - alas, a disservice to such an otherwise great place. I understand that the owners are fixing that issue, so you should have a great stay.

A great experience.

Gloria's apartment was wonderful. It has a breathtaking view of the city and Alhambra from the windows and a great outdoor deck. The woodwork is amazing and its very close to many restaurants and shops.

Extremelly nice and comfortable appatment on a quiet alley in the old town of the city. Short walking distance to everything including the Alhambra. We where 5 and had plenty of room for all of us. Very nice terrasse overseeing the Alhambra. I definetly recommend

Great unit in a fantastic location

The unit itself was very cool, overlooking the Alhambra. It was fairly large with an interesting layout and some nice spaces to just sit and take in the vibe of the place. The hosts were very helpful and although the check in process is (by necessity) a bit complex, the instructions were very well laid out and accurate. I would definitely stay here again if/when we come back to Granada.

Lovely apartment with special views . The owner is responsive. The minor negatives: taxi comes no closer than 190 meters of the apt. which means keep luggage to a minimum. The other problem was wifi which only worked 2 out of three days.

Great. Hoover for our Family

Comfortable and convenient location for our family of four adults to explore Granada. Gloria was incredibly helpful in getting us from the parking garage to the apartment. Views from apartment were beautiful day and night. Loved breakfast at Four Cats.

Beautiful Apartment; Great Location

This was our first trip to Granada. As a group of a multi-generational family of four, the apartment was perfect for everyone. Very clean and nicely decorated it felt like home. Gloria was very helpful with everything. And, the location was great. - easy to get around if you don’t mind hills. I would recommend this to friends and stay here again.

Wonderful location

Raquel was a fabulous host. Instructions for everything. Very clean. The apartment was perfectly located for us. The additional upstairs living room and outside balcony were a treat. Lots of coffee makers but don't forget to bring your coffee!! A very special place. A little note: The old city is not ideal for wheeling luggage. We packed backpacks for our stay and were rewarded.

This property is even better in person than it is in pictures. Gloria is a fantastic host and we felt extremely well cared for. The location to everything is absolutely amazing Granada is overwhelmingly beautiful From the terrace the lights in the sounds of the city are amazing the views of Alhambra are the best there could be . Gloria has paid close attention to every detail to make the stay perfect if I could give more stars I would .

Une excellente adresse à deux pas de tout a Grenade

L'appartement de Gloria est vaste, très propre, calme et très bien situe. La vue de la Terrasse et de presque toutes les pièces de l'appartement est vraiment exceptionnelle sur l'Alhambra. Ses indications claires pour le stationnement, un taxi pour se rendre à 100 mètres de la Maison et le fait qu'elle est venu nous rejoindre a la descente du Taxi nous ont permis de rapidement se démêler dans l'albayzin. Amazing unique place!

Gloria's place is amazing. The views of the Alhambra from here are amazing both during the day and especially at night. Unlike a lot of other vacation rentals which are spartan in decor, Gloria has gone out of her way to really decorate the place and give it a charm that fits in perfectly with the city. Location is wonderful with a short walk to basically everything (20min to Alhambra, 20min to Sacaromante, 5 min to San Nicolas). Lastly, Gloria is a wonderful host as well. Was very thorough and responsive at check in and throughout our stay, definitely made us feel at home.

Under the wing of the Alhambra

A dreamy flat in the historical Albaicin, with a spectacular view of the Alhambra from the comfort of a nice terrace. The flat keeps cool inside and we didn't need to turn on the air conditioning. Gloria is very nice and welcoming. Altogether a memorable experience, and we are looking forward to come back and stay longer.

We recently stayed at this property. Gloria and her partner were unbelievable hosts! They helped us find a place to park our car (no parking at this flat), helped us get to the flat from the parking garage and arranged for a cab to pick us up the morning of our departure. The flat has an unbelievable view of the Alhambra from the terrace - just like in the picture and the flat was immaculately clean and comfortable. Easy walking distance to the main square. Great place to stay!.

Albaicin Retreat

We so loved our stay here! The Albaicin neighborhood is tucked away from the action of central Granada, yet just a 5 minute walk to Puerto Nueva where many tours meet. Gloria was extremely helpful and available for any question. We used both bedrooms and the upstairs second living sofa bed - everything was ready because Gloria asked which beds we would need. The terrace is what puts this apartment over the top - views of the Alhambra are phenomenal. Make sure you leave one night open to drink wine, eat some snacks, and enjoy the view from the terrace as the light changes with the sun going down. As others have said, be able to carry your luggage through some narrow streets after your cab drops you off - with the stone roads you won’t be pulling it. And you’ll be carrying it up two flights of stairs inside the building. So worth it!! We have no reservations recommending this apartment.
