Staff was very good. Upgraded room was nice. Bogus to charge $14.00 to park in an outdoor, unsecured lot with signs that say “not responsible for vehicle damage or theft”. Found out about this charge when initializing at check in.

Not so good. First a long wait for check-in, then a SUPRISE $14 mandatory parking fee, more than a 14% increase in price - ugh!!! Never reveled during Hotels.com booking, so very disappointed in Hotels.com and Grand Vista. When check-in I asked about the location of the included breakfast, and the clerk pointed out the location. The next morning we when for the buffet, picked up some eggs, but before we could eat the waitress gave me a $32 bill. I objected, she called a manager 'Sam" who told her they have a Hotels.com booking, so NO complimentary breakfast. We just got up and left. Room was just okay so that's the highlights of our stay. Can you please get back to me on this poor experience.

Although The Grand Vista is somewhat dated it is always a comfortable place to stay and has just the right amount of service, friendliness and value.

Very disappointing!

Not good - they charged $ 14 to park in their open parking lot overnight - ridiculous! Hot tub jets don’t work and they almost bragged that they haven’t worked for a few years. No shampoo in bathroom. Nearby road notice very noticeable all night long. Overall disappointing experience! Definitely wouldn’t stay there again!

Just know: You will pay for parking and the breakfast buffet is equal to what you will find most anywhere else but you are going to pay $17 ($22 if you want sausage or bacon). Other than the price, the protein and the coffee is in the kitchen which forces you into a tipping situation. I won't stay here again. I could have gotten a room at the La Quinta and had been able to park and get breakfast at the Grand Vista room price. It was meh.

Have stayed here twice. Nice hotel, clean, but most of all, best value hotel in Grand Junction.

The staff is very helpful and efficient at check in. Poll was nice and clean. Gym was small but clean. Room was older but clean. Overall a great place to stay on a budget.
