The Space:

Quiet woods and the gentle winds set the scene as you arrive at this colorful cabin tucked away in the hills of West Virginia. Inside, warmth and light balance the crisp air outside, creating a comfortable retreat where days unfold slowly and evenings invite you to unwind. Whether you spend your time exploring nearby trails or soaking beneath the stars, the setting encourages you to settle in and stay awhile.



The cabin

This newly renovated cabin feels open and welcoming, with high ceilings and exposed beams anchoring the main living area. Central heating keeps the interior comfortable, while fast, reliable Wifi supports movie nights, remote work, or video calls. A dedicated workspace offers a quiet corner if you need to log on during your stay.



Sleeping arrangements

The cabin comfortably accommodates up to six guests across three bedrooms. Sleeping arrangements include two queen beds and a bunk bed, with two sleeper sofa chairs located in the lower-level game room. Bed linens and extra pillows and blankets are provided, making it easy to get cozy after a full day outdoors.



Kitchen and dining

The kitchen is fully stocked and designed for easy meals at home, whether you’re preparing a hearty breakfast before heading out or a relaxed dinner after a day of exploring. With ample counter space and full appliances, cooking feels simple and unhurried. Indoor dining makes evenings especially comfortable, letting you linger over meals.



Indoor entertainment and comfort

Downstairs, the finished basement doubles as a game room, featuring ping pong, foosball, and a TV for relaxed evenings indoors. It’s a natural gathering space for guests of all ages. A washer and dryer are available in the cabin, adding convenience for longer stays.



Outdoor living

Step outside to the spacious deck, where a private hot tub offers a favorite ritual - warm water rising into night air as the woods surround you. The deck also includes an outdoor dining area and BBQ grill, available year-round depending on weather conditions. The private backyard is not fully fenced and blends naturally into the surrounding landscape.



Pets and practical details

The cabin is pet-friendly, welcoming dogs as part of the getaway. For safety, Jefferson County requires that any pets be up to date on their rabies vaccination. Self check-in via lockbox makes arrival easy, and free parking is available on the premises.



The area

Located about 20 minutes from downtown Harpers Ferry, the cabin offers a peaceful base with convenient access to historic sites, local eateries, outdoor activities, and scenic views.



This cabin is well suited for families, friends, and small groups looking for a comfortable, pet-friendly escape where indoor warmth and outdoor relaxation come together in every season.



Note

We often take our three little kids and dog to the cabin with us, so we're very family and dog-friendly. Unfortunately we don't allow cats (we're allergic).



For the safety of all our guests and furry friends, Jefferson County requires that any pets brought to the property be up to date on their rabies vaccination.



Our cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs, and walkways before each arrival, but due to the natural setting, you may still notice some leaves, pollen, or similar—especially during certain seasons. We appreciate your understanding as nature tends to leave its mark, no matter how often we tidy up!
