A gem on the prairie. Very clean. Very friendly staff. Very good breakfast. I slept so well here. I stayed 3 nights. I will stay again in the future for my event in Hays. It was worth the drive to stay out here.

As per other Yelpers, we were already prepared for the desolate and abandoned look of the outside of the motel, so we weren’t surprised. The front desk lady was pleasant and she took very good care of my son and I, putting us in a room on the side of the bldg that we preferred. Breakfast was raved by most reviews

Great budget friendly hotel

This is a nice budget friendly hotel. The staff was helpful and kind. The room was adequate. They could use a more accessible outlet for CPAP machines by the bed. The breakfast was awesome. There were scrambled eggs two ways, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cinnamon rolls, yogurt, etc. And the price was very reasonable

Try it. You might be surprised how nice it is.

The outside doesn’t look like much but the rooms were quite nice and the breakfast was amazing. Receptionist was very friendly and we took advantage of their recreation room by playing a game of pool.

More than meets the eye

The parking lot was empty when we arrived but don’t let that fool you. The lady at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The room was dated in some aspects but clean and comfortable. The parking lot was well lit and the breakfast in the morning was fantastic. One could choose from cold cereal to eggs and bacon or sausage gravy and biscuits. Would stay again when I get out this way

We had a wonderful quiet night stay in a very comfortable room. And it has to be the best breakfast place out of any hotel that we’ve been to… And it’s included. The lady that runs the front desk in the hotel and the breakfast is extremely sweet and always willing to help/pretty please.

My wife and I looked online before our trip for a budget hotel that was clean, quiet, and had good reviews. The Lodge checked all the boxes. Jacob at the front desk was a hoot, and very efficient at checking us in and answering all questions. The bed was VERY comfortable. We have memory foam at home and this bed, though not memory foam, was as comfortable as ours. The room was quiet and clean. There's no tub, but the shower had great water pressure and did nicely. Our most pleasant surprise was breakfast. 3 different kinds of eggs, biscuits and gravy, a waffle maker, 3 kinds of dry cereal, fruit cups, hot oatmeal with 4 kinds of toppings cinnamon rolls, white bread and raisin bread, juice, tea coffee - wow! We HIGHLY recommend staying here!

Amazing attendant, but not an amazing place to sta

The lovely woman who checked me in was wonderful, but the rest of the experience was not amazing. The key didnt work well in the door and it was difficult to open. Another guest had to get a different key because he couldnt get his to work, and they had to move an older guest because she couldnt get her key to work. The room was also pretty rough, but the bed was comfortable. Very glad I didnt have my wife with me, but for a quick place to crash it worked fine for $62.
