The hotel itself was decent. Breakfast was convenient and staff was friendly and helpful. The room was not very clean and the air conditioner in the room was dripping for the entirety of our trip, leaving that area of the carpet saturated. Staff came to “clean” but did not vacuum or change sheets. Only replaced towels and made the bed. Pool was small but clean and a nice perk of the stay. It was convenient for our visit of Hersheypark with some nice restaurants nearby but I would not return.

Hershey Family Getaway

We stayed for two nights as we were in the area to visit Hershey Park. The location was close to the park and there were a couple restaurants a short walking distance from the hotel that served us well and good food. We were able to take an Uber to the park and avoid the crowds and parking fees. The room was nice and spacious for our family of 4 and the breakfast options were an added bonus.

Location to Hershey attractions was great. This hotel could use a deep clean and general repairs. Shelf in both our bathrooms was hanging. Bed was not very comfortable. Breakfast was ok. People just make a mess of the food area making it unappealing. We ended up going next door to Hershey Pantry for breakfast second day. They had microwaveable food to purchase in the lobby which was convenient when we got back late.

The staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was convenient but limited options. The pool and gym were my daughter’s favorite. Our room was okay, but the shower was very worn down with stains. Overall, the hotel was just 7 mins from all attractions and we enjoyed our stay for the most part.

My family of 5 stayed for 3days and 2nights. All the spaces were clean, my interactions with all hotel staff was polite, the complimentary breakfast was good. My kids enjoyed the make your own waffles station. The suite was advertised as sleeping 5. The king size bed came with 4 pillows and the extra sheet set came with 1. I understand that that is one pillow per person, but the pillows have no density to them, you really need two. Mt kids are too young to have it bother them but as adults it was uncomfortable. The bed was also rock hard. The pull out sofa really sleeps 2, I think the king size bed is supposed to fit 3. While checking in there was a $40 charge added to my card as a security deposit. I don’t have a problem with that, but it wasn’t explained when I was given the total and I had to inquire about it. Check-out time is standard 11 o’clock. House keeping showing up at 10:30 made me feel like we were being rushed out. This last part is not about the hotel itself but still was a part of the stay. I received a text message welcoming us and informing me that if we needed anything. I could use the message feature to make requests, through the Hilton Honors app I also tried to do the digital key. The digital key never went through and though I requested a rollaway bed and extra pillows, I never got them. If you are looking for a clean place to toss and turn for a night with your average free breakfast, then you should stay here.

I was disappointed to find there was no shampoo or soap in the shower, also the tub is not flat on the bottom making it difficult to stand in the shower. Some of the towels were yellowed, others were fine. It may be time to retire some of them. The hallways were extremely noisy when people went by or were hanging out in the hall. The staff were super friendly and helpful during check-in, and there were 3 people overseeing the breakfast. Everything was quickly replaced before it ran out and the tables were dining area was clean and neat. We were only staying for one night, so it was a quick visit.

weekend trip to hershey with famiy

The hotel was great location to the park! We had a wonderful stay. The room was large and had lots of space. Loved the full kitchen. Also, the breakfast was plentiful. Has 3 waffle makers! My kids loved that. Lots of juice, coffee, tea, hot cocoa. Stayed on the 3rd floor. nice and quiet.

Nice stay in Hershey

We had a great stay at this hotel in Hershey. We like the suites with the full-size fridge and mini kitchen. It’s our goto hotel when we visit family in Hershey. It has a well stocked breakfast to start your day!
