My family of 5 stayed for 3days and 2nights. All the spaces were clean, my interactions with all hotel staff was polite, the complimentary breakfast was good. My kids enjoyed the make your own waffles station. The suite was advertised as sleeping 5. The king size bed came with 4 pillows and the extra sheet set came with 1. I understand that that is one pillow per person, but the pillows have no density to them, you really need two. Mt kids are too young to have it bother them but as adults it was uncomfortable. The bed was also rock hard. The pull out sofa really sleeps 2, I think the king size bed is supposed to fit 3. While checking in there was a $40 charge added to my card as a security deposit. I don’t have a problem with that, but it wasn’t explained when I was given the total and I had to inquire about it. Check-out time is standard 11 o’clock. House keeping showing up at 10:30 made me feel like we were being rushed out. This last part is not about the hotel itself but still was a part of the stay. I received a text message welcoming us and informing me that if we needed anything. I could use the message feature to make requests, through the Hilton Honors app I also tried to do the digital key. The digital key never went through and though I requested a rollaway bed and extra pillows, I never got them. If you are looking for a clean place to toss and turn for a night with your average free breakfast, then you should stay here.

I was disappointed to find there was no shampoo or soap in the shower, also the tub is not flat on the bottom making it difficult to stand in the shower. Some of the towels were yellowed, others were fine. It may be time to retire some of them. The hallways were extremely noisy when people went by or were hanging out in the hall. The staff were super friendly and helpful during check-in, and there were 3 people overseeing the breakfast. Everything was quickly replaced before it ran out and the tables were dining area was clean and neat. We were only staying for one night, so it was a quick visit.

weekend trip to hershey with famiy

The hotel was great location to the park! We had a wonderful stay. The room was large and had lots of space. Loved the full kitchen. Also, the breakfast was plentiful. Has 3 waffle makers! My kids loved that. Lots of juice, coffee, tea, hot cocoa. Stayed on the 3rd floor. nice and quiet.

Nice stay in Hershey

We had a great stay at this hotel in Hershey. We like the suites with the full-size fridge and mini kitchen. It’s our goto hotel when we visit family in Hershey. It has a well stocked breakfast to start your day!

We were looking for an affordable place to stay close to Hershey Park and we typically have good experiences at the Hampton Inn. The only downside? They did not have rooms with two queens and a sofa bed. We travel with 2 teens: boy and girl. A lot of times they are okay crashing out on a Queen after a full day at the park (or in the car) and everyone is exhausted. But these beds seemed like full size so my son slept on the chair! I even offered to purchase a second room at that point when we saw how small the beds were but he is the frugal one in the family and said no. LOL Breakfast was *excellent* and a great way to start the day before heading off to the park. The park is roughly 6 to 10 minutes away by car. Not walking distance (if you were trying to save on parking fees) but close enough to sleep in and still make rope drop! LOL Hershey Pantry for breakfast / brunch is a must-do. It is right across the street. Pool and hot tub were lovely. A note: There are two Hampton Inn Hershey locations. We stayed at the one on Chocolate Ave but we initially went to the other one. This was after a 4-hour drive from Long Island. The front desk was downright rude to us about the mistake. The location on Chocolate Ave is also much nicer and a few minutes closer to the park, plus closer to downtown for the whole Hershey experience. The other location looked run-down. Book on Chocolate Ave. Brandon and his colleague (Ben, I think) will take great care of you!

Our stay was fine. The property had plenty of food and beverage options, as well as a free breakfast. When we originally checked in, the woman at the front desk wasn’t extremely friendly but wasn’t rude. Checking out, the front desk staff were awesome! The overall room was spacious with decent beds. My only complaint would be that the walls should be scrubbed due to the disgusting residue on it. The bathroom was not clean, this hotel needs to take more care of the cleanliness of their bathroom facilities. The walls were also extremely thin, we could hear everything in the room next to us, in addition to people In the hallway. Would I stay here again, yes. Would it be my first choice, no.
