Steps to the beach and pool from this outstanding and popular location in the resort. Updated in a chic and modern beach motif, the lovely villa has a spacious feel. You will love the appliances, very nice flooring and lovely decorated. Enjoy the oceanfront with largest pool in Hilton Head and food from the elegant restaurant a few steps away. The lighted tennis courts, fitness is ideal for the active guests. If a service animal will be accompanying you please notify me as soon as possible additional paperwork is required per the resorts policy. If The additional paperwork is not filled out prior to arrival a $250 fine can be added to your reservation. This resort has 24 hour security.

The kitchen area, bathroom, and bedroom area while old and very used was fairly clean. However, the couch & pillows were very dirty and gross. We felt we had to use our beach towels just to sit. The cable tv was very pixelated- and the internet constantly buffered making watching any tv difficult and not enjoyable. The frig had an ice maker but parts were missing so there was none. A huge negative at the beach. The beach area and pool was nice. Overall our stay was fair. If we went back I think I would try a different condo though.

Roach motel - Avoid!!

During our stay, we observed more than a dozen cockroaches at various life stages. This was extremely concerning as this indicated a major roach infestation. I’m not surprised there were roaches as the general cleanliness of the unit was lacking. When escalating this issue to Shaneka, she was dismissive and told us the property would be spraying later in the week. This unit will likely need extensive roach treatment to get this infestation under control. We ultimately received a partial refund, but the damage had been done. A ruined vacation. While this unit has other positive reviews, I would avoid this unit until the manager takes pest control and cleanliness seriously.

Being so close to the beach is one reason to book this spot! the pool is beach front and steps away. Overall - we liked the property, one thing we must call out is that we did face alot of roaches, but that's more a propertywide issue vs our own rental. We will definitely stay here again if we had to pick!

NEEDED PEST CONTROL

PROS:The location was very close to everything. Loved being steps away from the beach and the pool. Unfortunately the pool was not heated so could not enjoy it. Lots of lounge chairs around the pool tho which was very nice. The pizza at the restaurant was very good. They had bike rentals right at the resort. There was a guy named Tucker that was working the day we rented bikes. He was very friendly and gave us a lot of information about the island. CONS: The place needs a good thorough cleaning. We experienced a lot of bugs. The bathroom had tons of ants and the kitchen also had a lot of ants and other bugs that would hang around the sink area. I notified the manager who told me that pest control would be there in a few days. They never showed up. I messaged the manager again and she basically said it’s up to the resort to take care of the problem. Totally unacceptable!!! So, unfortunately we had to deal with the bugs everyday!The WiFi/internet is awful. When it did work it was very slow. Other times you couldn’t even watch tv without it cutting out and saying service was unavailable. I would stay at the resort again but not this unit!!

Perfect property, but be cautious booking during hurricane season

First off, this property is great and we would book again in a heartbeat. The location right next to the stairs was money. The open BR make the whole place seem bigger, but there is no privacy from the little ones. On the other hand, and this goes for any property booked through VRBO in HHI, we will not travel during hurricane season. We encountered a tropical storm in day 3 and while, there was no evacuation order, there was a State of Emergency order by the State, the County and the Local governments. VRBO policy states that during hurricane season, refunds are not covered………..unless there is a secondary event which would fall under the “Extenuating Circumstance Policy”. That would be tornado, loss of electricity, floods, etc. Unfortunately, a State, County or Local State of Emergency declaration for “potential lsss of life…” is not covered. We decided not to stick around and see if we could put our live in danger, so we got nada. Thanks, VRBO. Rental unit is great tho

HHI Beach & Tennis Condo

Clean and as described. Perfect for a girls weekend. Bunks are more for small children so take that into account. Kitchen well stocked with dishes/pans. Easy walk to beach and the beach side pool. Been staying at this complex for years. Gated, guarded and safe. Enjoy and thank you for our stay!
