Stay was fine. A little overpriced for the location in my opinion, but we are entering tourist season and with Jasper in the post fire state that it is in, Hinton will take advantage.

The bed was comfortable and the pillows plush. We booked a room with a fireplace. The fireplace did not work. The bed was a double. It was edge to edge pushed between two closets. One closet usable, the other blocked by the single night stand which was at about my knee position next to the bed not at the top of the bed. The door seal was terrible as I could see light around most of the doors edges. The door also was not very secure since the door frame had obviously been broken in at some point and a metal plate for the strike was really holding things in place. The bathroom door could not be closed unless you lifted it when it ran into the frame when trying to close it. The shower head was low enough that it touched my head (6'-1") and the shower curtain was installed too high so the walk in shower got water all over the floor while showering. There were no shelves in the shower so you had to place all your shampoo, conditioner and body wash on the floor and keep picking it up. I have never gived a hotel a bad review before but this was so not like the pictures online represented that I felt the need. It was quiet and a comfy bed, but the rest was sadly sub par.

The room was nice. However, the bed bug we found on bed at 1am was not! Hotel tried to convince me that they never had had complaints and it was not possible due to metal base on bed. Even though I show them the live bed bug. Still charged us the night even though we left and had to sleep in our truck!!! Do not reccomend!!!!

Our sheets were dirty, offered us a different room which was occupied, then changed our sheets. The very strong, overwhelming smell of Lysol makes one wonder what is trying to be covered up. Outside stairwells dirty and in need of attention.

Bathroom was strange set up. no problem. one reading light. frustrating. one chair to watch tv or bed.,. if it's a suite for two...., nice fridge sink table and little cooktop. Could cook in easily enough.

Quick overnight stay on a road trip. Great proximity to Jasper and a nice view of the mountains from our room. Only issue was a couple of stains on the sheets. You could tell they were cleaned but if the sheets are stained they should be replaced. Overall a great and comfortable stay though!

Check in around 10pm, no one is in the reception area. Called their posted number, rung the bell many times. Waited for more than 20 mins. A number was in the desk and Called it. A receptionist arrived and told us that he was out just for 2 minutes and he arrived saying we are not there when he arrived.
