We had high expectation as the property was highly rated. It was a little anticlimactic. The facility itself looked dated. Building carpet was just replaced, but our room's carpet was worn. Loud AC. The gym was minimal. Elliptical and a treadmill were broken. A few dumbbells and 2 treadmills were ok. Breakfast were average. Staff were friendly. Overall good for the price.

Constant text messages and emails...constant

The hotel is fine. But their constant communication is not. I have received countless requests to review them, both in the form of text messages and emails. It is constant. Every single day, I would wake up to a text message from Heritage Inn at 8AM (sometimes it would wake me up), and every day I'd get three or four messages from them. There's no way to unsubscribe from the messages they send you through hotels.com, and it honestly got to the point where it felt like they had no regard for my privacy. I just wanted to be left alone to enjoy my stay, but evidently that's not possible. It is just insane how much communication this hotel thinks they should send you.
