This was a very nice resort hotel! I loved the room! This is the best shower I think I have ever had! Hot and strong water! The pool was closed as it is an outdoor pool and too cold out right now. I signed up for the casino card and received a $15 discount off my birthday dinner at the restaurant. Then the casino also gave us a discount card off a meal, so we used that at breakfast. The dinner tasted great (I had the prime rib). I was really excited when it included a Yorkshire pudding, until it arrived and was just a plain roll. I think the evening staff was new or training because we had to wait quite a while. The breakfast was pretty good, although way too much food! I don't think 3 eggs are needed, just 2 is fine. The bread was so big that one piece cut in half would be fine. Matbe a lighter fare plate option. Lastly, there was a gift shop, but by the time I got there in the evening, it was already closed and had not reopened by the time I left the next morning. It would have been nice to walk around and maybe buy something. Overall though, it was a great stay.
