Just perfect

This was our second time staying at this property, and it only gets better. Perfect set up for my family of four plus mother. Access to beach and pool is great. Super clean and great communication. You can’t beat Amelia Island.

A lovely and serene beach getaway.

We loved our stay here and would definitely return again!! It was so close to the beach and just a short walk to the pool. It was so nice being on the ground floor and just around the corner from the beach walkover. It was also nice to set on the patio and listen to the ocean or take a few steps and look out over the beach. The house was perfectly set up with everything we could possibly need. The beach chairs, umbrellas and toys were such an amazing and very appreciated benefit. It was such a peaceful and calm resort and very well maintained. Our kids are already asking to go back! You can’t go wrong with this one!

Sea Dunes Place Steps From the Beach

You really can’t go wrong with any property on the Omni Amelia Plantation. This rental is perfect if you want to be close to the beach. One negative is that this property does not include access to the hotel’s facilities or shuttle. If you rent through the hotel, you get access & can take the shuttle to access the beach wherever you stay on the Plantation. I would stay here again, but for the price point, the amenities were lacking. There was not a coffee or tea service to start off your first morning. There were insufficient starter toiletries. The Shampoo was V05 & the soap was cheap, motel grade. There were no extra niceties. The kitchen is not well stocked. The small kitchen appliances are grossly outdated. The toaster is so old it did not evenly brown. The filter holder in the Keurig was molded and did not have a filter. If you rent for a holiday to plan a meal, the kitchenware is insufficient. If you eat out, then it is okay for snacking.The condo. was only superficially clean. The baseboard and ceiling fans were filthy. The washer had mold around the seal. However, I was happy that the cleaning service left a note letting us know that all the bedding was washed, even the comforters.The owner or manager needs to consolidate cleaning tools, such as the mops and brooms, and products into a private area. Much was left in the guest closets leaving little room for clothing. If you have little ones, beware that cleaners are accessible.

Family of 4 Vacation

This condo was a great place to stay for our first visit to Amelia Island. The condo was conveniently located for the pool and beach, which our family used daily. The unit had everything we needed for two young children. The owner was responsive. We loved our time here and hope to return someday!

Great for kids

Ground floor unit was easy for kids to get in and out. Also the layout was very children friendly. Most places we have stayed in this same area have glass furniture/decor everywhere and keeps us on edge our entire stay. We did not have to worry about that here.

Lovely and Clean Condo

This property was an excellent choice for our family of four. We enjoyed the amenities of the Omni property, as well as the relaxing and clean comfort of the condo. The bedrooms, baths, and living area are spacious and have comfortable accommodations. We enjoyed cooking and dining out in Fernandina. Angie gave great recommendations on dining around the island. We had a minor issue with the AC unit and Angie was quick to communicate and resolve the issue. We would definitely rent this condo again!

Great for families

We really appreciated the accommodations for kids at this condo- pack and play, high chair, toddler table and chairs, and toys. We were flying, so it was huge to have these available and not worry about bringing or renting upon arrival. Angie also accommodated an early check in and was proactive and responsive with all communication. Great spot on the beach, nice pool- we would definitely return!

Peaceful family time

Amelia Island is one of our favorite places to vacation. We met up this year with our adult daughter and son and had a really sweet time together. Relaxation away from stressful lives! The place was perfect for this. Close to pool and beach and beautiful patio to enjoy the morning sunruse. Just beware the beds are on the soft side. And if your cooking the pots and pan are all over used non stick and scatched. Bring your own! Otherwise a very well equipped kitchen.

Family beach time

Enjoyed the location, the view and all the amenities that the Plantation has to offer. Excellent restaurants and close enough to downtown Fernandina made trips to and from easy. Loved it and would definitely stay here again.
