Activities nearby : The area is perfect for people who like to spend their holidays actively with hiking, mountain biking and water sports. The Zrmanja River is ideal for canoeing. Also, visit the Paklenica National Park, located 11 kilometers from your accommodation and about 50 km north of Zadar between the coast and the highest peaks of Velebit. The 400 meter high cliffs, caves, grottos and bizarre rock formations make this landscape an outstanding natural experience. However, you will not only find a barren karst landscape here, because the steep rocky slopes are covered with dense and unusual pine forest due to the climate. Within the park there is a network of over 150 km of hiking trails, which allow for both short hikes and multi-day trekking. The most popular hike takes about two hours and leads from the park entrance through the impressive Velika Paklenica Gorge. On the way you can see various water mills, which are no longer in use but are well preserved. And in the Lugarnica forest hut you can fortify yourself with a hearty snack. The beautiful city of Zadar is only 30 km far from here, where you can visit a lot of historical sights and also a shopping mall.
