Unfortunately, we did not realize that we needed to book the spa and restaurant weeks in advance. We planned a one night spa getaway last minute here and that was not a wise choice. When we checked into the hotel, the room was great, but we discovered that the spa was full for the next two days as well as the restaurant there is limited options as it is a small village and 30 minutes drive to Canmore. We thought we would try the hot tub and it was broken and the heated pool was full with lots of kids, so not a relaxing atmosphere. We were very disappointed and communicated to the staff, who fully refunded us our stay and we ended up going to Canmore later in the evening instead although the staff were trying to make our stay better, we were disappointed and just want to let everyone else know if you plan to go here to make sure you book everything in advance, including the restaurant otherwise you will be stuck in your expensive room for the duration of your stay.

There was no mention of the hot tub and swimming pool renovation on expedia when I was booking, but the amenities were unavailable when we checked in but the hotel still charged us the full $35/night. The hotel website mentioned that the outdoor hot tub was available but it wasnt available neither so the website was misleading. I messaged the hotel through expedia and I’m not hearing anything about it. Poor customer service.
