It was nice enough for the price, not real fancy or real dirty. Good enough. The toilet was running the first night and as mentioned by previous guests to the management staff, they fixed it before the second night of our stay which was great.

This Super 8 needs a lot of work. Our bathroom sink drain was broken, bathroom lights didn’t work, lampshades were torn, mattress pad was stained, and room smelled of stale smoke.

This place was a dump. The rooms were filthy, The bedding was filthy, and the owners and the employees who worked in the office were rude.

Room was decent except the television didn't work. I was told while checking in that they're having technical issues. Not sure how long they had the network issues. Television didn't work for all three days while there. There was breakfast available, your usual continental and nothing really special.

Wasn’t too impressed. The TV’s didn’t work at all for the entire stay. Hallways smelled like smoke. Minimal water pressure in the bathroom sink. Vending machines were empty. Ceiling in the bathroom had been patched but not repaired completely.

It was cheap and that's it. The bed reminded me of the beds in the old-time movies where the guy gets in bed and it folds up around him - mattress, no box spring. I'm not a heavy person, but I was sleeping a good four inches below the edge of the mattress. My wife and I kept rolling into each other. The breakfast was OK, but that's it. The man at the front desk was apologetic, but nothing more.

The staff was nice, but the parking lot was super hard to navigate with the amount of potholes, Other issues we encountered, the toilet kept running every like 30 min and the pipes would squeal every time it would also, the bathtub drained super slow while showering.

Hotel was dated. Had old furniture & old beds, stained bedspreads & sheets. Couldn’t turn tv on until we called the front desk. Guy working was great. He came right away & helped us. The carpet looked pretty new but everything else wasn’t very nice. Got up in the middle of the night & found roaches in the bathroom. Overall terrible experience. We’ve stayed at some really nice Super 8s around the country. I booked on Expedia. Wish I hadn’t. We did consider leaving but ended up staying. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this hotel!!!

The hotel is in a pretty rough looking area. There were a lot of questionable looking people hanging out in the parking lot at all times. I’m fairly certain there was quite a bit of less than legal business being conducted both inside and outside of the motel. I did not see an employee there the entire stay. When I called because no one was coming to check me in, I was told my key was in the basket on the counter. Throughout my multiple trips past the desk during my stay, I never once saw an employee there. The room was very dated and the wall mounted AC unit had way more wires hanging out of it than would probably be considered safe. Definitely not worth what they’re changing.

You get what you get for the price when it comes to cleanliness, amenities, and lack of upgrades. But what you shouldn't get is a basket of random key cards left accessible for anyone to use. We checked in quite late and I could have picked any random card and gone into any random room because staff wasn't there to help us and they were all left out for late check ins. We also asked staff for a crib, they said they don't offer cribs even though it's listed as an amenity on their site. So we asked for a cot, they said they don't have cots, even though we were standing 6ft away from them and I could literally see them. After pointing to them, they begrudgingly gave us one. We also had someone (assuming staff?) walk into our room at 8am while we we're still sleeping. No idea why.

Skip the Kearney Super 8

Wasn’t a great experience. I asked for a cot, was told they didn’t have any available, I asked for three blankets and two pillows, was told neither was available. I had no issues getting any of these basic supplies at the other three hotels I stayed at along this trip. The breakfast room closed at 9a which I think is an hour earlier than every other hotel we stayed at, and it didn’t leave us much time to get what we wanted. TV in the room had no service, needed to be connected to the WiFi and their own WiFi wasn’t working on it No smoke alarm in the room which is probably a code violation Obviously cheap hotels you get what you pay for but the lack of basic necessities was frustrating. Probably just continue past Kearney and give the next exit a shot.

I had reserved 2 rooms with single queens. When I got to the hotel, the clerk said they did not have a room available due to water. They offered a room with 2 queen beds. Had my travel partner traveled with me (they had another commitment), we would have had to share this room. This would have never worked. A big No. I took the room, since I was by myself. Room charge was the same. It worked out for me. The room was clean, the bathroom was even cleaner. YES!! Toilet paper, towels, soap. Yes to all 3. The TV remote needed to be cleaned. One of my travel pleasures is a continental breakfast. It looked great. Unfortunately the waffle maker was not clean. It was about 8am, other guests might have been the messy ones. I'll get my waffle another hotel stay. Check out was seamless. I put the door card in the basket and said goodbye. If I need a place to stay when going through Kearney, I would stay here again.
