We had a lovely stay at EQ Kuala Lumpur, the service and welcoming nature of all staff made our time here! It is a shame we could t stay longer. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to the city looking for a relaxing and welcoming break!

Good hotel

I think the hotel was okay. Honestly I think it is a bit overrated. But stayed in Grand Hyatt before moving in EQ and liked it better. Overall, the experience was fine, the food was average, so was the room. The rooftop bar was amazing though!

Overall experience was excellent, great hotel to spend my first time in KL at (location, rooms, service). Wouldn’t consider anywhere else when returning to KL.

The staff at Sky51 really lacks good mannerism. We asked to make a reservation at the reception and they told us since we are staying, we don't need reservation. We go to the bar and in a nice polite way, I said, "Hi, we are staying at room ###" And the question staff asked, "Do you have a reservation?" This shows total lack of communication and directives among staff. We enter the bar and my wife walked through the sliding door, and this staff guy rushed passed her, No excuse me or anything, this is not a playground where people should be running. Then after we sit down, this same staff member was having some sort of fit where he is standing beside our table and talking so loud that me & my wife can barely hear each other. Very poorly trained staff and lack of respect towards the guests staying at the hotel is insane. There are many other options when it comes to KL, choose another option.

This is a great option for solo travelers, friends and families, for business or leisure. The hotel is beautiful, the staff is warm welcoming and very courteous. The location is great for checking the Petronas twin towers, going shopping or having some nice meals or accessing entertainment at night. I would love to visit again and would totally recommend to anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur.

Location wasn't in a touristy neighborhood and hear major sites. The hotel was nice, but the walls were thin, could hear chairs moving upstairs etc. The room service was good but the food was average. Bath switches broke, easy to spill water all over so things look nice but don't function all that great for a 4 star hotel. But they were trying!

High quality and exceptional servicd

This is a well appointed hotel that is centrally located. The rooms were large and comfortable and the gym and swimming pool were exceptional . There were a number of restaurants and the quality of food was excellent. All in all a very positive experience and I would return.

This hotel is top notch and so reasonably priced. I could not get over how amazing the view from my room was. The amenities were great quality. This was the first time I refused to leave my room because I was enjoying being in it so much. I had no plans on returning to Malaysia but after my stay I’m coming back this year.
