Large luxurious 4 bedroom villa with private pool (which can be heated for an additional fee) beautiful gardens and sea views. All of the air conditioned bedrooms are situated on the ground floor; 3 are accessed from the main hall and a 4th is accessed through a corridor and games room (currently housing gym equipment, a drinks fridge and a full sized ping-pong table). 2 of the bedrooms are en-suite while the other 2 share the main bathroom. A spiral marble stair case leads up to the living/dining area and the kitchen. Outside is the stunning and well maintained garden and pool.

The house is located in the sought after area of Montinhos da Luz, 2km walk to Praia da Luz beach or a few minutes by car or Uber. There is also a regular bus service to Luz/Burgau or beyond.

Beautiful Spacious Property

Casa Luisa is a very spacious and well maintained property with an updated kitchen with new modern appliances. The host, Adam was easily accessible and provided information before and during our stay about transportation, beaches and restaurants. The location is further from the beach, but there is good access to Lagos and Burgau via car and there is excellent access to hiking trails. The hike to Burgau is beautiful!

A place I would like to return to

The house was big, and ideal for a family of 6. We have 3 teens, and a 6 year old with us. The house is just as good looking as on the pictures. Location is very quiet, but not far from the small city Luz. If you are walking, it will take you 25 minutes. We usually took Uber to get there, or to Lago (with a uber that can take 6 people). Recommend having a car to do grocery shopping etc. Its a bit of a hassle to use a uber to shop, as you might have to wait 20 minutes for a lift. The pool area was great. We did not opt for heating the pool as this usually is not needed, we experienced that the weather was changing quite a bit, with cold winds and "only" 25 degrees half of the time, and warm wind and 30 degrees the other half. The pool was not used much on the cold days, but on hot days it was used a lot. Positive things to mention: - great barbecue area outside - Table tennis in the garage (used alot) - Extra fridge next to table tennis area a great bonus - Cleaners come once a week and is included in the price - Pool cleaning once a week is also included - Well functioning air condition in all rooms that needed it If you go out to eat, I reccomend going to Lagos. Its not far away, but you have to reserve a table 1-2 days in advance. The restaurant Quay in Lagos Marina was the place we enjoyed the most. Also reccomend Caso Do Prego, and the pizzeria next to the green tiled building in the Old Town in Lagos. Do not drive your own car to Lagos, avoid the Old Town especially. If you drive, park next to the Marina and walk from there. Water activities in Luz are also worth checking out. Riding a bananaboat or something like that was only a det euros per person, and lastet + 20 min. Jet ski was cheap. Great fun for the teens/adults. Like the headline said I would like to return to this house. It was a quiet and nice neighborhood- it was very nice to be able to have a few days of peace and quiet by our own house and pool! Enjoy your stay
