Awful awful awful

The hotel is older one but right on the beach. We booked a premier ocran front. The view was amazing. The sounds of the ocean could be heard all night. The bed was comfy. And that is where the good ends. Small kitchen with only a fridge, sink and coffee maker that hasnt been cleaned in years. The sofa and chairs hard as a rock. The toilet is hard to flush and gets backed up constantly. We had to call maintence for the shower as it wouldnt work. After waiting an hour they came and semi fixed it. We were able to use it at thisnpoint but each time had to pull and twist knobs in a mickey mouse way, as the maintence guy said to do until it can be fixed. The walls are super thin. We could hear our neighbors entire conversations and tv. We had to call maintence again because the tv kept losing signal. The room had a private balcony not so private. Its a small.gate that doesnt lock so we kept having people come in our "private" area. When asked management said yeah it happens. Valet is $45 a day. And although they were nice, you pay and they literally keep it parked where you park it. Not really valet except they hold your key. The elevator is a death trap. I wish i were kidding. Its so old, small and made of wood. 2 people fill the elevator and each time it hardly moves, gets stuck for a bit and even drops a little. We ended up taking stairs, much safer. The pool and spa are disgusting. Days later they add charges to the card on file and hangup when asked about them

This propertys only great feature was the location and view. The staff was never present for towels and we had to request services several times. I could hear my neighbors fighting very loudly. My jeep was parked by the vallet and when I left it with them it was in good condition, whether it was them or another vehicle my jeep was returned with a cracked bumper. I did say something about the room and my neighbors fighting no one even acknowledged it. No microwave in room so no left overs. The parking costs a lot and it was not disclosed at the time of booking. For the amount that I paid to stay here I felt that the services and the amenities were not up to par. When we did run into people they were friendly. Everything was within walking distance. If you book it book it on the ocean front balcony view otherwise id find something more updated for the same experience. Can't say I'd use this hotel again.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was far from what was advertised. While I appreciate the kindness of the staff, the overall condition of the hotel left much to be desired. The room we received was nothing like what was shown online—it was in poor condition and clearly not maintained properly. The bathroom was a mess, the iron didn’t work, the internet wouldn’t connect, and the bed looked like it hadn’t been updated since the 1940s (and not in a charming, antique way). The overall upkeep of the hotel was disappointing, making for an uncomfortable stay. I sincerely hope management takes steps to improve the maintenance and accuracy of their advertising because, as it stands, this was a very disappointing experience.

The way this property is portrayed on Expedia is extremely misleading. The rooms look nothing like the pictures, at least the two bedroom suites. The carpet looks original and is very old, damaged, dirty. The "old" smell is very overwhelming. I will say the cleaning is done to the best of their ability as they are working with everything that is old and outdated. I will also say the staff tried very hard to accommodate us with a new room and a restaurant credit which is very appreciated. The most upsetting part is how it is misrepresented on Expedia. People should see what they could possibly be getting. It also does not show that there is a $45 daily valet charge.

Great location and band for the buck you can't beat it. It is an older hotel and if you are not in a remodeled room than the room sucks. Ours was dirty and smelled like fish... Yuk. he heat didn't work in one of the rooms. Staff was friendly and helpful. It really is about the location and the beach. Parking is $45 a night. Love the place but it could use some attention.
