The last few times I’ve stayed here have been really disappointing. Maintenance had to come to my room to unclog my shower drain. I was literally showering in a puddle of water. Not small but like the entire shower bottom was covered in water up to my ankles. I had to call down to front desk for something and one of the ladies were rude. Same thing for room service.

We have stayed here years before and loved this hotel. However, since the pandemic the buffet was removed everything is more expensive and the service has deteriorated. The front staff was great but cleaning staff is lacking.The bathroom was not as clean as it should have been. Our towels were changed but our bed was not made. There was no coffee or coffee maker in the room and they charge $3.00 for water. Disappointed.

The room seemed very basic: No coffee maker, no tea bags or coffee), no microwave, no glasses (only flimsy plastic cups in plastic wrap), etc. There wasn't even any beverages available in the lobby, such as coffee, tea, water, etc. Also, the added "Resort fees" were ridiculous (approximately $41 extra/day in addition to the room rate), equating to an extra $120 for 3 days, in addition to already paying for the room. We couldn't even use the pool without standing in line, proving our identity, and having to wear a wrist band.

Everything looked clean and well kept. The only thing that was a problem, I my pillowcase smelt like an old man's breath, but they fixed it as soon as I told them about it. The bed could've been a little firmer but that's all I like it, otherwise all is well. PS. there was no alkaline water in the gift shop.

Love the location, love the staff. Seem a little understaffed these days and the rooms are showing their age. Clean but obviously not new. Slow drains, chipping paint - not serious. Yet.
