We had a great room with views over Launceston. Balmoral in a very handy position, close to the CBD. The room was clean and had all amenities, including microwave and plates / cutlery. We enjoyed the continental breakfast with lovely fruit. The Hotel Manager was welcoming and helpful with knowledge of the best local restaurants.

We stayed here as a family and we were very impressed with the property and the service. It was very clean and close to the centre of town. Special mention goes to the lady at the front desk, nothing was too much trouble and she was very friendly. Would recommend without any hesitation.

there seemed to be only 1 man doing everything and while he was very busy, he was very competent, while it's an older property it was so quiet in the room allowing for a good sleep,
