Good parking. Best restaurant of trip! Staff friendly. Room large/clean. Bed just not comfortable. It is in the country but pretty and quiet. Close to St Andrews and a short drive to other coastal towns.

Pet friendly but they aren't allowed on the bed and it is very close to a main road so can't let your dog off the lead. Because it was very quiet when we were there, there wasn't much atmosphere in the restaurant but the food and service was very good.

Inspired Hotel Awful!!!

Overall in need of repair and upgrading. Vanity mirror light broken impossible to do makeup in bathroom far too dark. Sink badly cracked.shower tray rocked! No soap holder in shower so all shampoos had to be put on floor. Laminated floors so badly layed that almost every floorboard didn’t just creak they screamed. Outer buildings and main building not been painted for years. We almost drove past it thinking THAT! can’t be our hotel it looked so run down and seedy. Obviously the owners, Inspired Hotels don’t know the meaning of the word inspired. We will never, ever stay in an Inspired Hotel again. They obviously don’t care and have no pride in their business. If they think this is the way to run a successful business, they are going to be sadly disappointed.

Enjoyed our break away at Lathones. staff work very hard to please their customers some people make it very difficult for them but they are always polite to them .I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel .Hope to be back soon .

Of the 4 hotels I stayed in in Scotland, this was the best. A short drive outside of St Andrews with rates a fraction of the cost of hotels in town. Parking on site was easy. On site restaurant was excellent. The fish and chips was the best I had in the country. Staff was amazing. Rooms were in excellent condition. Property was unique and looked like a small village.

The place was lovely and generally the stay was great, only small downsides were the bed was a wee bit too hard for me and I woke up a bit sore and the WiFi didn’t work in our room but other than that it was a beautiful setting, clean room and would recommend anyone who has a wedding in St Andrews to stay here super close to drive to.

The place is really lovely. We really liked the structure of the place and the surrounding. The only issue was that it was really cold. The room was large and the radiator was only mildly warm. The bathroom did have a radiator but it was not working, so it was very cold.
