Ideal for central stay in Lille

We chose this hotel for location, to stay overnight in the centre of Lille, particularly to see the Xmas market. Parking was easy in the underground car park of the Orchestre National de Lille - a large circular building just behind the hotel, look it up on Google Earth and set your satnav coordinates very carefully because the entrance is on Place Pierre Mendes and not on Rue du Nouveau Siecle, and the 1-way system is tricky. The hotel's plain front leads into a very clean modern interior. The staff were very pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. The room was quiet, spotless and a good size, excellent shower, and an unusual large wave-shaped sink unit which was amusing yet perfectly functional. A Bluetooth-enabled radio in the room was very welcome as it meant we could play our own music straight from my phone, and it also includes a USB charging socket. Comfortable bed, choice of pillows, a safe for valuables, large flat screen TV, nice lighting and décor. Five mins walk from the Xmas market square which is well designed and filled with unusually good products, easy to spend a couple of hours having a wander around and plenty of food and mulled wine available. The rest of the central pedestrianized area, and the old town, are only minutes away too. This hotel was the perfect spot for our trip and we enjoyed it very much.

Weekend break in Lille

The hotel was just off of the main squares, but close enough to walk to good restaurants, bars etc very easily. Good value for money.

Fantastic location but the sofa bed is a nightmare

The hotel is in a great location, and the staff were great. I booked a twin room and the second bed was a sofa bed which they had kindly made up for us. I did not last five minutes in the bed it was so uncomfortable. Luckily the regular bed was very large and comfortable so we shared. Some kind of mattress cover is called for if people are to sleep on that lumpy surface.

good location to visit lille

The location is fairly good in Lille, not far away from the metal spot at Lille - the grand place and only few minute walk from the metro station. The diner place is nice as well. But there is no swimming poor at the hotel while the brochure in the room has the the picture of swimming pool in it, when we asking about it we were disappointed about it.

Hôtel très bien situé, personnel agréable et compétent. Le petit déjeuner est abondant et frais. Le seul bémol: la chambre un peu petite. Mais c’est bénin pour un court séjour.

HOTEL QUELCONQUE

Pros: situation superficie de la chambre
Cons: accueil deco de la chambre a revoir verifier que la tele proposee marche correctement
Location: bon quartier pas loin de la gde place se perdre ds les rues pietonnes
experience ni bonne ni mauvaise accueil plutot froid hall d entree agreable car refait bonne situation de l hotel pres du centre par contre les chambres sont peu agreables un coup de rajeunissement est necessaire la tele ne fonctionnait pas bien gobelets en carton sur le plateau de courtoisie pour un 4etoiles c est nul en resume pas au niveau d un 4 etoiles lille est une bien belle ville a recommander le resto melting pot ds le centre ppour diner

Schönes Hotel in Altstadtnähe

Pros: Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.
Cons: Für einen längeren Aufenthalt wäre ein Kleiderschrank angenehm. Leider hat es in unserem Zimmer bei der Ankunft ziemlich nach Kanalisation gerochen.
Location: Die Lage des Hotels ist ist fantastisch, die Altstadt mit diversen Sehenswürdigkeiten ist fußläufig in wenigen Minuten erreichbar.
Wir waren für ein verlängertes Wochenende in Lille und haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Hotel ist für Besichtigungen und abentliche Unternehmungen sehr gut gelegen, da man weder auf die Metro noch ein Taxi angewiesen ist.
