The apartment is located in Ericeira (World Surfing Reserve) and a few minutes walk from the beaches of the village, Praia do Sul, Praia dos Pescadores and Praia do Algodio.
The apartment has a common room with a large balcony overlooking the sea and lots of light. The house has 3 bedrooms, the first bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom, the second bedroom has two single beds and the third bedroom has 4 single beds and a bathroom to support the latter two.
Guests can use the 2 swimming pools (one for children) and 2 parking spaces.
Ericeira is a village of excellence for the practice of various sports with surfing, bodyboarding, stand-up paddle, fantastic walks on foot or bicycle along the coast.
As for gastronomy, Ericeira has excellent quality restaurants where you can eat fantastic fresh fish and seafood, pizzerias, restaurants with excellent grilled meat or fish and other specialties. You can also find stores with quality local products.
If you want to cook at home you can go to the market where you can buy fresh fish, meat, horticultural products and fruits provided by the local farmers.
Ericeira, former fishing village, is 18 Kms from the village of Sintra (world heritage), 8 Kms from Mafra and 50 kms from Lisbon, about 30 minutes by car.

Vacation home Ericiera

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo in Ericiera. It has a nice ocean few, close to the center of town and a short walk to the beach. The place is very clean, spacious and has everything you need to be comfortable. The bathrooms are new and very clean. The kitchen has everything you need to make cooking easy while on vacation. Parking was great. It is in the basement of the building which made things very easy for us. There are plenty of restaurants, shopping and a supermarket nearby. I recommend considering this as a great option when coming Ericeira. It is perfect for 6 people!

Stay Away - Bedbugs and Dishonest Host

I hate to write this review because we had high expectations for this trip. Teresa's apartment is great. The ocean view is lovely, the kids loved the pool and the location is great for going to town. Unfortunately, we had several issues. We had our 5-month old with us, and the travel crib was set up in the bedroom upon arrival. The first morning the baby woke up with a concerning number of red dots on her face and head. At first I thought it was an allergic reaction, but we found out it was bedbugs in the travel crib. Teresa had the apartment fumigated the next day. We moved to a hotel for the night, which she promised they would reimburse us for. We returned the next day and spent days of our vacation drying their bedding/curtains and our clothes on high heat to get rid of any remaining bugs. We remade all the beds and cleaned everything. It was really stressful. We ended up leaving early because we were too paranoid about the infestation coming back. The baby's bites got better but then worse, and we didn't know whether it was because she got more bites or if it was another trigger. Teresa did cancel the remainder of the trip for us, and we got a VRBO refund. The really disappointing part is that after much communication (requesting my bank info & getting the hotel to issue the receipt to a business entity) about the hotel reimbursement (385 Euro!), Teresa totally ghosted us and has not paid the money even after several calls to VRBO. AVOID THIS PROPERTY!

4 day wedding trip for 5 people (June 20th-24th 2024)

Property exactly as advertised and spotlessly clean. well located for short walk into town centre. Excellent showers and anything needed was there (steam iron a well used example) host met us on arrival so gave a good run through, simple touch like three sets of keys a useful touch. all in all property a hidden gem.

Fabulous stay by the beach

We had a wonderful stay. Perfect location to walk to town and check out the beaches. We also drove north and it was great to have a parking spot at our location. The amenities were fabulous and the owners were super communicative and responsive.

Wonderful Apartment in a Very Sweet Town

Homeowners were very friendly and welcoming, with a complimentary bottle of wine and delicious local cheese. The apartment had everything you could need, very clean and beautiful with a view of the sea. High recommend.

Quiero empezar diciendo que tanto Teresa como Pedro son dos seres excepcionales, para empezar el recibimiento fue de los más acogedor! Con un detalle, más que delicioso, mis hijos estaban encantados! El piso es exactamente como las fotos, una casa familiar acogedora, llena de detalles, muy limpia, con todo lo que se puede necesitar para una estancia cómoda. Además, durante nuestra estancia tuvimos un problema de salud y Pedro y Teresa estuvieron siempre dispuestos a ayudarnos en lo que necesitásemos, ofreciendo ayuda y cuidado en todo momento!!!!
