This hotel highlights design, but has several failures of design. Tiny bedside tables. Lack of easy-to-reach electrical outlets. Overburdened elevators and no easy stairwell alternative. The lighting in the bathrooms is nightmarishly bright. The enjoyment of the balcony is diminished by a rattling AC unit. This is a poorly-designed design hotel. But quite clean, with accommodating but somewhat under-trained staff. A breakfast door hanger was never picked up, for example. The area around the hotel has very easy train access and a decent number of restaurants. The breakfast is a pathetic effort for a 4 star hotel. The scrambled eggs swim in water. Fruit and pastry are quite limited. Not a bad hotel, by any means, but not a good one, either.

Nice rooms although original room was near lifts and didn’t get much sleep. Once room change requested all was good. Room was spacious and modern. Breakfast was great and staff very obliging.

Clean but outdated

Clean but outdated. Old carpet, faded, in some places, old furniture. The lobby and the entrance look nice, but our room on floor 11 felt like old tried to make new. Good breakfast but stayed there for 6 days and ( nearly) the same breakfast every day. No coffee or tea in the room ( you have to pay for it) Friendly and lovely staff.

We enjoyed our stay here and would stay again. The room was clean however, there was no kettle in the room (only espresso machine) and the refrigerator is kept locked. Everything else was good. The hotel is very to numerous restaurants and you can walk to the metro. It is opposite from the train station

Since this was not our first stay at the hotel, I noticed that the closet doors had been replaced in the room. They look much better than the original wood. The staff was excellent and worked hard to get us into the room early, because we had just come off a cruise ship at 8:00 AM. Good hotel over all, and we will always stay here when in Lisbon.
