One of the beds in the room was broken. It would barely stay on its frame. The other was fine. The room was clean. I was not happy with the way they charged $100 deposit after I get prepaid for the room. All I can say about the host and hostess, was that they were there. Not very courteous or friendly.

The hotel is old and smelly. They do not change or do room cleaning on a daily basis, but until you check out. Breakfast was all from the freezer right next to the counter, besides apples and bananas. This hotel is not worth more than $45 a day. It’s only located right next to St. Vincent doesn’t mean worth it.

Room air conditioner/heater did not work. They did offer to move me to another room but didn’t want to have to repack for just one night. Toilet was clogged and they said they fixed it but when I returned to the room I ended up going to the front desk to get a plunger to clear the toilet myself. The box holding the Kleenex tissue in the bathroom was empty. Not sure how long since they had been replaced. When I turned on the water to take a shower there was a large wad of hair floating that had been on the drain and had not been wiped out when it was cleaned last. For price the room was sufficient for my 2 night stay but I believe housekeeping could do a better job in assuring the room had all the amenities offered and is as clean as they can make it. Rooms could use a good coat of paint when possible

we tried to talk to the housekeeper in the hall wanted more towels and coffee but we could not communicate with her. no speak english. had to wait and the front dest staff member had to get what we need. the room was not entered by housekeeper beds not made trash not carried out. other than that the stay was good.

Booked a king size bed and got checked in and got into the room and it was 2 double beds. Told front desk and they said they were out of king beds. Room was clean but old. they are slowly remodeling.

Room was clean, comfortable beds, however there was a smell of tobacco smoke when we first walked in. We ask for a non smoking room when we booked. We contacted the front desk and a lady came up to the room and said she smelled it also. We just didn't want to be charged our deposit thinking we did it. They were very nice and offered to move us to another room, but we declined thinking with the ac/heat circulating would help and it did. Overall they were very accommodating and nice. The breakfast was good also, scrambled eggs, sausage gravy, however were out of biscuits when I was there, but I'm sure they making more but I didn't have time to wait.

Air conditioner was loud. The room was clean but the microwave didn't work. The bathroom sink was stopped up. Soon as you walked in the room you smelled mildew. There was mildew in the ceiling in the bathroom. The breakfast was great but the guy that got the breakfast together was rude. The front desk daytime and nighttime clerk were very friendly. There are not enough handicapped parking spaces.

Had a family member who had major surgery next door, location was perfect, friendly staff, easy check-in, clean, quiet and comfortable room. Did not have time for breakfast but all other amenities were excellent. Highly recommend.
