Playa Grande Resort & Grand Spa offers 260 air-conditioned accommodations, which are accessible via exterior corridors, and features a safe and coffee/tea makers. Rooms open to balconies or patios. Pillowtop beds feature down duvets. A pillow menu is available. Guests can make use of the in-room full-sized fridge/freezers and microwaves. Bathrooms include baths or showers with a deep soaking bath and a rainfall showerhead, and hairdryers.

In-room wireless Internet access is available for a surcharge. 40-inch flat-screen televisions come with premium satellite channels and pay-per-view films. Additionally, rooms include an iron/ironing board and a ceiling fan. Housekeeping is provided on a daily basis.

The resort offers a beautiful setting with numerous poolside activities. The beach is exceptionally well-maintained. The morning buffet is delightful, and the rooms are spacious with excellent service. It is conveniently located within a short walk to the marina. I have made wonderful memories and look forward to returning.

PG is home away from home for us when we vacation in Cabo. There was only one thing wrong with the room. The bedding (duvet, sheets and pillow cases) smelled as though they were not washed properly had a dirty order of mildew omitting from the entire bed. Housekeeping did change the sheets upon my request. But left the duvet cover, which still omitted the smell. Other than, everything else was great. When you have an awesome property and great service, it’s easy to overlook the other items. PG will always be a favorite!

Be prepared to pay for every little thing, nothing provided free. No real entertainment but it was off season. The taxes are steep, we had three shots of vodka in the sports bar and our bill was $60. Lots of stairs and the pool bar closed at 6 pm.

The location is great, walkable to the marina. It’s very clean, inside the lobby has a nice fragrance. The staff needs to smile more and make you feel more welcome. When I checked out, the gentleman didn’t even thank me for staying there. Not enough food options and pricey For the options they do have. The surface of the pool at the swim up bar is terrible!!!! Little loose rocks on the bottom that hurt your feet. Wear water shoes.

We recently visited Playa Grande and had one of our best vacations ever. September turned out to be the perfect time to go — the resort wasn’t busy, so it almost felt like we had it to ourselves. The property is absolutely gorgeous, and the staff made the experience even more special. Jair from the entertainment team kept us engaged with fun daily activities, which made the days fly by. The food was outstanding — each meal looked like a work of art and tasted just as amazing. Service by the pool and in all the restaurants was excellent. If I had to suggest anything, it would be to upgrade the in-room TV (it felt a bit small) and address the flies at Calima restaurant. Other than that, everything was perfect. This was truly one of our best vacations, and we’ll definitely be coming back!
