Value for money, no frills hotel. The staffs were friendly and helpful. Easy to get to Luzern old town with a direct bus just in front of the hotel. The shower areas was a small capsule with translucent door and strips of areas with clear glass.

Handy location in Luzern for the train station. Clean, modern room. A lock or even latch on WC door would be nice. Luggage storage available before check in for very small charge per item which was very useful.

Me, my husband, and his brother stayed in a 3 person room (bunk over the bed). Three adults and we all slept comfortably. Place was clean and the layout was thoughtfully designed. There was enough space for a couple large suitcases to be and we could shove backpacks under the bed. His brother has been to a bunch of budget hotels around Europe and thought this was one of the nicer ones. It had a bathroom in the room with a door for the toilet and a privacy curtain to block off the shower area, which is apparently not always the case for budget hotels. Location is near a delicious bakery and easy walking distance to downtown. A nice place to visit Lucerne on a budget!

The staff was freindly. The location is ok. Had to take the bus to go to old town. The hotel supplied free bus tickets. The hotel is very basic. Only soap in room was the body wash in the shower. No ice available at all. No airconditioning. If they did, it wasnt working.

The shower smelled like pee and the bedsheets smelled like they were not dried well and had a damp smell. On top of that, the breakfast buffet we paid for, was so expensive for what was included.

The location of tbe hotel is not bad. It is pretty close to the Old Town, and they provide as a courtesy a free public transportation pass for your entire stay. Just across the street you can take bus # 4 to the train station (only 3 stops), and from the station you can walk the whole Old Town. The service was good, but they charge you to get to the room if you arrive an hour or hour and few minutes before the check in time as we did. I have never experienced such a ridiculous rule because the room was ready when we arrived as long as you pay for to check in. However, we left 4 hours before the check out time the day we left, and they did not even mention to give us a discount. The house keeping ladies are great, but we had to ask for medium size towels for the vanity because the hotel does not provide them. The room was so small and lack almost all the normal and necessary amenities: closets, drawers, space to put your clothing and things, hangers, etc. We felt we were inside a very small box, and you can hardly walk inside. The breakfast was just acceptable, but it should have more variety. And the worst is that the hotel was not cheap. We pay a very high price although I am a Platinum Member of Hotels.com. I will never return to this hotel, and I definitely will not recommend it unless you want to waste your money.

My son stayed in the top bunk and was bitten so badly. The bed clearly had bed bugs. I didn’t check the bed before he had gotten in it because we were tired, but the first night he had so many bites all over his body. I’m usually very careful with looking for bedbugs because my son has an allergic reaction to their bites. I went to front desk to see if I could get another room and front desk was so rude to another customer who was complaining about air conditioning not functioning in their room and they could not change room. The manager who was working the front desk was awkward, rude, and cold during my checkin when my son had hiccups during checkin. This room in general had temporary fixes everywhere. I felt we were stuck in a bad situation. I would never stay here again.
