Clean. Comfortable. Confusing lighting options in the room: small buttons on a horizontal bar above the desk instead of a lamp. Great breakfast offerings including fresh scrambled eggs and sausage but area was next to cleaning room with strong cleaning odor. Hopefully this will not be a problem in the future. Definitely would stay there again.

Great newer place

Room is clean, spacious and the attendance signed me in right away. I also called my room to make sure I had everything I needed. Breakfast options were kind of limited, but they had the staples.

Wonderful experience. A few minutes after checking in and settling in my room I received a call from staff to make sure everything was up to standards and if I needed anything; that was a kind and much appreciated gesture. No other hotel has ever called to make sure all was ok. Bed was comfortable, room was clean. Felt safe. Great location with several restaurants and shopping within short driving distance. Coffee/machine available in lobby 24hrs, serves hot and good coffee. Only wish they served breakfast until 10AM for those of us not rushing to get on the road.

On the evening of our stay I discovered mold growing on the bathroom ceiling. I noticed this around 10:30pm. Since we were told at checkin the hotel was completely sold out and my children were already asleep I figured there wasn't much that could be done. I did text the staff at the front desk about it. I didn’t hear anything so I went to bed. In the morning I spoke to the font desk. I was told the mold was likely due to a recent water leak. I requested a full refund for our stay. I was told that since I had booked through Hotels.com that I would need to go through them. I reached out through Hotels.com and was only issued a partial refund. It is clear this property does not properly clean it's rooms or value it's guests. Mold is a health hazzard and a full refund was warranted.

Great Stay!

This was a wonderful stay on our trip through Virginia. Addy, who prepared our breakfast, did an excellent job! The food was great, she checked with us to see if we needed anything else, spent a few minutes chatting with us before we left. Also, the gentleman working at the check/in desk(I can’t recall his name), helped troubleshoot issues we had with the tv on check-in. We have never stayed at a Microtel, but will certainly try to stay at one if needed!
