The tv didn’t work, the decks needed to be cleaned and repaired. The lady at the front desk was specific on where the water park we could use was and that we wouldn’t be able to use it on check out day. Our door didn’t latch, we had to pull it hard to get it to latch. The pool area needs to be updated, we had a couple kids that tripped and got scrapped on the floor walking around the pool.

Not a bad place to sleep. Spent most of our time on the balcony enjoying the quiet and beautiful view. Can walk to anything, just a small town. Fridge- no microwave. Had pool and hot tub, but saw no one in it. Breakfast was granola bar if you want. There's a couple breakfast joints nearby. Was not disappointed. It was one of the cheaper hotels around with beachfront and view. Would atay again. Bonus, we got fireworks from the balcony. August.

The hotel is very old and dirty. The floors are very dirty, and the balcony door has not been cleaned in ages. Dust everywhere on the furniture. Moss growing on the balcony and spider webs around the front door.

The room is dirty. The floor is very dirty. We killed bunch of spiders in the room. Phone and air dryer doesn’t work. Tub is filthy. The rails on the balcony is wobbly and bunch of spider webs and spiders. The pool is dirty. There’s so much sand in it. The receptionist is nice though.

Walked out of the room and almost tripped on an air conditioner cover a worker left. Tube of sealant was laying in the middle of the stairs. The bathroom fan was terribly noisy. The wall paper was peeling and the bathroom tile was cracked. The walls are thin and the people walking up the stairs and outside the room sounded like they were inside the room. Parking lot was dirty. Don’t recommend except for the friendliness of the staff.

Place have beautiful view . But old cheep room with unstick rubber around bathtub and black mold everywhere behind rubber . Stink room not so nice . Except beautiful view on lake it wa so beautiful. But I prefer every each hotel around on the beach

Dirty, rude, Discriminated against service dog.

When we first arrived at this hotel, I attempted to check-in and the woman at the check-in desk was arguing rudely with a current guest who was asking for some money back as he described their room being horrendously dirty. The hotel refused stating their card had already been charged. However, I didn't want to base my opinion off of that interaction, but I should have used it as a warning. The rooms were atrocious. Broken lamps, dirty bathrooms, cobwebs and spiders in the corners, and the carpets were so dirty I didn't let my kids take their shoes off. I didn't even want to bathe them in the tub (which had a shower head that didn't work, water wouldn't even come out). Then to top it all off, I brought my service dog (I am a disabled veteran) and was asked to provide proof via paperwork and asked what my diagnosis was that required a service animal, both of which are illegal. Then I was forced to sign a piece of paper declaring my animal or they threatened to kick us out. According to reviews, the terrible service, rude staff and disgusting rooms were all a common occurrence. We will not be staying here again and this business will be reported to the state and attorney general for their behavior surrounding my service dog who is EXTREMELY well behaved and friendly. Don't stay here. It's not worth the time or $370/night they charge.

There were red stains on the wall that we weren’t sure were from food or blood. Carpet is damp so didn’t feel clean enough to walk on with bare feet. There was may flies stuck in web on ceiling in front of window. My kids were afraid of the dirt/mold in the light fixture in the bathroom. The beds appear to be clean.

I can only give a “decent” review because the placement of the hotel is great if you want to get to the beach and the check in lady was wonderful. Otherwise, this place is disgusting. Feet feel like they stick to the carpet, bugs everywhere, dirty, blood spot on one of our pillows, not the case, the pillow. Sliding door to deck doesn’t even fun on the track. Dirty napkins behind the nightstand by plug ins. Stained nasty bathroom floors. Rusty stained spots on towels. I mean it was, BAD! Don’t recommend even for those saying just do it for the price. Great price for a reason.

We loved the view on the beach side! Property is quite dated, and there was a power strip for an extension cord for one of the bedside lights but the other didn’t have a plug. All the drains were clogged so taking a shower meant you had to stand in 6” of water. The price was about 1/2 the cost of the hotel next door so whatever.
