The staff was friendly and made checking in fast and easy. Love the bar downstairs and the the complimentary breakfast was one entree per person and then any sides you paid for. Both our meals totaled less then 5 dollars. Tip the servers!!!!!

Very unique hotel, over 100 years old! Cozy decor. Comfy bed, great shower pressure! Multiple bars downstairs Both in the building and next-door. Walking distance from a bike rental to be able to bike along the lake trails and city. Walking distance from the Capitol building and local restaurants. Walking distance from the cute Williamson Street shops and restaurants. We stayed in 13 which was spacious and has an east (lake) view. We knew what we were getting ourselves into staying at this location given the bar downstairs with live music almost nightly and an active freight train line right in front of the building. The hotel knows this too and provides earplugs. Despite the brief noise, we had a wonderful stay!

Overall, very cute vibe. There were some sticky stains/spots on our sheet and comforter that seemed to be something like lipgloss which was a little disappointing. With our room being right by the street there was some noisy traffic in the night, but they supplied earplugs to it. Bath tub drain is very slow.
