This hotel is on a busy shopping street but I didn’t find that off-putting. The location is central - close to the metro stations Tribunal and Chueca. The hotel itself is fairly trendy - staffed by young people who are very helpful and kind. There are no drink-making facilities in rooms, but the fifth floor offers a set of free drinks (cold and hot) 24 hours a day. There are free biscuits in jars and fruit. There is also a seating area where many people gathered in the morning. For many, this will be all that is needed, but there are tons of cafes around, too. FYI - there is a fifth floor terrace to enjoy the night air, although I didn’t use it.
The bed was comfy, the room clean, the facilities in the room modern and working perfectly (two different shower heads for a bit of luxury). Every morning there was a paper bag on the outside door handle with water and sometime a pastry. Very welcome.
Overall, I’d say this is a good hotel to stay in - it offers everything required for a city stay. Whatever it might not have will not be far away from this location.
