I had a party of four, two double-beds. They only left two towels and I had to go and ask for two more. When the cleaned the room, they took the four towels and only left two. Close proximity to my LIRR. We dropped our son off at USMMA. They have bullet-proof glass around the desk and you can't understand what is being said. Totally unnecessary because it is not a bank and not in a sketchy area.

The room was very clean and comfortable. We've stayed at Wyndam properties before and the beds are very comfortable. Bob at the front desk was the best! We arrived early and had a room ready for us. He was very pleasant to speak with and very accommodating. We had free coffee in the lobby each morning and were very happy with our stay. If you're in town for a Merchant Marine Academy function, I recommend this hotel.

Weird vibes, questionable policies

We were traveling almost 8 hours out of state for a concert and booked this hotel because of the price and it was sort of close to the venue…However, the hotel called me twice asking where I was when I didn’t get checked in at 2pm. I received a phone call around 5pm asking where I was. I explained we were traveling from out of state, stuck in New York traffic but we were an hour and a half away. He said he would call at 7pm. He called back at 6pm saying we needed to be checked in and if we didn’t get there by 7 he would give our room away. Once again I explained we were stuck in traffic and almost there but he insisted we had to be there by 7. Policy said late check in is 3am when I booked! Room was okay for a short stay but I wouldn’t rebook at all.

For the price and location excellent. Room was clean quiet. Plenty of tv stations. Excellent staff. Location excellent with midtown nyc < hour. Manhasset lirr about 15 min walk . Bus is right by hotel connecting to great neck station and beyond or Long Island points east.

Filthy . No cups , crumbs in microwave. No soap, no trash bag in dirty trash can. Afraid to touch surfaces. One folded skimpy blanket on bed. Most disgusting room I’ve ever entered. Toothpaste smear on counter . I would give it 0 stars if possible.
