Excellent Hotel

We were very pleased with the stay at the hotel, very friendly, and very clean. Would def stay there again if need to be up for family outings. My daughter lives in Fredericktown and we go up 1-2 times a year, their home is too small to stay with them.

Clean and adequate

Very clean bed linens. Toilet was very low to the ground. One of the lowest seat heights I have ever encountered. Had difficulty sitting and rising. Breakfast was adequate but not much variety.

Reservation made for my sister-in-law, her friend and a puppy. Chose this specific motel due to being "pet friendly". Desk clerk refused to rent to them due to pet fee not being paid upfront (which you cannot do in the Expedia app; or even give notice that a pet is coming with you). Desk clerk threw them out and cancelled the reservation. Worst experience ever!!

Noisy A/C, and No Kitchen

The room itself looked good, but the under-window A/C unit was was extremely loud, similar to a small airplane. Such noise would interfere with sleep. Also, the photos on the web site showed that the room had a kitchen. In reality, there was no kitchen in the room; it was just a regular hotel room with two beds. On the plus side, there really was an indoor swimming pool adjacent to the front lobby area, and it looked quite inviting.

Good weekend stay in Mt. Vernon

I had a good, two night stay. The staff was friendly and the location was convenient to my event as well as a handful of restaurants. A clean, reliable hotel for the money.

the room was extremely clean and the beds were comfy with nice linens. plenty of towels. Had some good variety of breakfast options in their Continental breakfast. our only issue was that I purposely had paid extra to stay at a hotel s a pool and my kids were super excited. When we went go pool, there was mold around the top of the pool liner and right at the waterline... and not just one little spot... it was a long 50=60% of the pool trim. looks like it needs a good scrubbing. my kids did have fun in the pool until we saw the mold.

Smelly, poorly maintained, and gross

Beds smelled sour, The toilet kept running, the room overall had a musty mildew smell, even though the rooms were all non smoking you could tell that marijuana was being smoked throughout the hotel. Also on the site it advertises a private hot tub and we were told it’s only in certain rooms. We paid for a private hot tub room but no hot tub. The only good experience was probably the breakfast.

Excellent value. The room was more than adequate for a budget stay. Although the property is a tad outdated, the place is beautiful and spotless!!!! I can not comment enough on how clean it was. The beds where very comfortable. Will frequent Comfort Inn more based on our experience at this location. Also, there is a beautiful pool and free breakfrast.
