Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities
Wow, wasn’t expecting the changes to this property and not for the better! The room is showing it’s age and needs some maintenance. The smoke detector is removed and wires protruding through the wall. Bathroom floor was dirty and a recleaning didn’t remove the greasy tracks from the tile. There was also no handle on the inside of the bathroom door making exit difficult. The mini fridge was broken and never replaced or repaired. On initial check-in we had to ask for a garbage can and towels. If you rang for customer service or house keeping it rings forever with no answer.
Upon check-out there were charges added that the staff couldn’t explain and they were reluctant to print a zero balance receipt. The two staff members present (Dazzy and Jasmine) weren’t rude but were completely uncooperative, dismissive and refused to summon management. I’ll be disputing these charges. There is no handicap parking adjacent to the registration area or cafe entrance.
What a shame! This was our go-to destination in Marathon but we won’t be back!
