Good place to stay. Across from Southern Cross station 639 steps, makes it ideal for quick, convenient, movement to and from the airport, train etc. Beds are clean, comfortable and for the most part good++. Bathroom is brilliant. Convenience stores are a 5 min walk. I have stayed here many, many times because of these traits. Check-in/Check-out very easy as staff very polite and do a really good job to help.

Room was tidy but not clean, the bathroom sliding door had many hand prints and behind it, easily accessible with a vacuum, was quite a lot of dust build up. Shower was average with periods where it would go scalding hot and then very cold quickly. There was also some mold in the grout and along the silicone sealing. Also if you have curly hair the only shampoo/conditioner is a 2 in 1 so make sure to pack your own.

Carpet was old and dirty- it looked like it needed a vacuum. The room had a funky odour and the sink would not drain. Location is fabulous, breakfast was great and the staff were good. If you just want somewhere to sleep that’s close to southern cross then it’s okay .
