I felt very uncomfortable. There was a bias in the air, by hotel employees. Rooms were marginal, at best. Few staff spoke English. Or, presented themselves, not to speak English. Beds to low to the ground. Shower area, leaky. Water pressure, marginal. It wasn’t a good stay for me.

Really enjoyed the “like home” feeling in the 1-bedroom - everything we needed and more with the little patio where we could sit and appreciate the experience. 4101 NEEDS a new mattress ASAP - this was my only disappointment. Subject: Complaint About Wrongful Charge and Poor Experience This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. I was charged $55 for a mistaken reservation that I intended to make for the 9th of this month, but due to an oversight, it was booked for the 14th instead. I immediately tried to resolve the issue by contacting the manager at the time, Marcos, who was very kind and understanding. However, when I escalated the issue to Expedia, I was told they would reach out to the property manager, as it was clear that I had meant to stay on the 9th. Despite this, my reservation was wrongly denied and my money was never refunded. This felt like a scam, and I am extremely disappointed by how everything was handled.

Where to start.. the front desk lady was rude both times we had to speak to her. No elevators so you'll be dragging your luggage up stairs. The room, the floor tiles were cracked, it smelled like mold, the ac was loud, black marks on the bedding, socks covered in hair from walking around the room, it was gross. Our room was right above the dinning room and we heard every single thing all night and early morning. Horrible stay- would never go back.

We were so excited about this trip since of us are spring break. It was my husband and son and me excited to be in South Beach. I’m so excited when I found this hotel through Hotels.com but arriving check in to 45 minutes in the room smell like smoke. It was terrible even when I came home my suitcase and clothes smells like cigarette. I was awful. I don’t think I’m ever going back to that hotel. Also, they never told us their pool was on their maintenance. Had to go to another hotel to used their pool.

I thought I did extensive research before picking the property but this was a miss...We arrived late at night and could not find hotel. This is because the hotel sign most visible reads Monticello not Oceanside. Also, it is not Oceanside more like one street over from the Ocean. Pool was not in-service and there is no parking. The rooms were not very clean and they are only serviced every 3 days. Again, I think most of this can be blamed on me not reading the details but if any of the above is important to you -- do not stay at this hotel. I am not badmouthing the hotel just pointing out the things that matter to me.

Disappointed that their pool was closed for maintenance and a bit of issues with the key cards which were not working for myself and many guests but they fixed it. Beautiful and clean room. Very comfortable.
