Maple Grove Visit

In town to connect with in-laws…a little disappointed with the hotel. Experienced a fire alarm test as I was vacating the shower. The alarm went off for 10 minutes, quite the annoyances. The breakfast buffet was adequate but nothing that would prompt me to tell people about. Front desk staff was pleasant.

Disappointed

There was a remodeling project going on at the main entrance that was going on. Awkward vibe there. The bathroom in my room was not thoroughly clean, the pool area was dirty and needs a major overhaul. Disappointed that couldn't get any extra blankets or pillows for the hideaway in my room. The service was good, as was the breakfast, and the bed was very comfortable.

I recently stayed at [Hotel Name] for a short trip, and my experience was just average. The room I was assigned wasn't as clean as I expected—there were noticeable dust and a few stray hairs in the bathroom. It felt like the cleaning could have been more thorough. Additionally, there was ongoing construction in the lobby, it would have been nice to have been informed about this beforehand. On a positive note, the staff were polite and tried to be helpful, and the location was convenient. But overall, given the cleanliness issues and the disruption from the construction, I expected a bit more for the price. Would consider staying again if improvements are made.

It took at least 15 minutes for someone to check us in. Very nice young woman appeared to be pulled off housekeeping to do check in’s. Our room was pre-paid, however we were required to pay a $100 deposit. Breakfast was literally a joke, no milk at all anywhere, had to search for the coffee, very limited choices of anything to eat. Website is extremely misleading. Many employees standing around chatting amongst themselves, not one of them greeted us. We’ve been staying at this hotel for the past 5 years for medical reasons, we will not return.

Bad experience

I have stayed at Cambria many times and if this would have been my first, I don’t think I would go back. The floor was not vacuumed from the previous guests, looked like cracker crumbs on the floor, candy bar wrapper on the floor and a plastic beverage bottle by one of the beds. The breakfast used to be one of the best, very little to choose from this time! Overall, not a good experience this time!
