My room was dark, no open views, 20+ year old furniture and pigeons on the sill…This hotel is undergoing transformation. Staff at Front Desk not accommodating for a change. Reply= we’re full. Expedia likewise doesn’t care less once $$ are paid and the hotel description was inaccurate. Avoid that hotel and explore better options in less touristy and run down places in lovely Montreal!!!

The room was very clean and the breakfast was very good--nice choices, reasonable prices. The room was also very nice in space and water provided daily was great. The only negative in our stay was not having a place to park my car while we unloaded luggage at the hotel entrance. taxi's were lined up and took all the spaces! I had to drive around the block until a space was available.

We booked into IHG for known quality of rooms and service. Our Classic King room was on 12th floor with a lovely view of a brick wall!! When we booked the website showed windows with a proper view. Manager was totally disinterested. I would not book IHG hotel again. Otherwise staff were good as was breakfast. We dined out at Holders and Helena’s - both excellent and better than any hotel restaurant.

No place to park while checking in. I accidentally parked in a bicycle lane which led to an argument between the doorman and a cyclist. Very unpleasant way to begin my stay. Suggest better signage on the street for hotel check-in would help.
