We had a bad experience with the check in counter. For safety reasons, I was not comfortable being in a room on the first floor. I requested a room on a different floor and the front desk immediately said that there were no more rooms without even checking the availability. I explained that I would feel safer on another floor and she started questioning why I felt unsafe on the first floor, as if I had to justify myself. After clicking around she said she could move us to another floor “this time but not next time”. All she needed to do was check the room availability and let us know if we could change rooms. We did not need or appreciate the passive aggressiveness.

Really great hotel! Super nice on the inside+outside and the rooms are a great size. Tv is large and you’re able to login into Netflix/hulu/prime video. Black out curtains in the room are a plus too! Only minor thing is that the showers don’t have a door. And the parking is $20, which typically parking is free, but I guess you’re paying for safety in a way. Still highly recommend!

Swing and a Miss

It’s a beautiful hotel and they do so many things right but some of the basics are just terrible. For example, on the plus side there is no daily parking or “resort“ fee. The outside space with the fire pits is very comfortable and inviting and the hotel has nice nooks to sit and talk with friends or colleagues. But it’s hard to enjoy these things without a good night’s sleep. Yes, they have great linens, but it’s on one of the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept on - anywhere. I actually felt springs through the mattress. And if you’re going to enjoy the pool, forget about it. It’s a tiny space that’s in the shade most of the day and there is no Jacuzzi, sauna or steam room despite having a very decent gym. They’re better set up to visit someone staying there than stay yourself Close but no cigar
