We enjoyed our stay at the Darlington. Loved that it was pet friendly and so close to the beach and boardwalk. The owners were amazing and gave great service and hospitality. They gave us some good ideas for our dinners out and even let us use a wagon to take all our beach chairs and towels. I would highly recommend staying here!

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I loved the view of the ocean from the balcony, and being steps from the beach and walkable to downtown. I will definitely stay here again.

Great Pet-Friendly Motel

The location was fantastic, it was directly across from the beach with an unobstructed view of the ocean. We were able to access the Boardwalk within a few minutes and walg all the way to the main strip. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. We stayed at the main motel building and the room, though a little dated, was cleaned fairly well. Because this is a pet-friendly location and we don't have any pets, the animal hairs in the bedding were very noticeable, especially on our darker clothing. My husband said it's almost impossible to completely get rid of animal fur once it gets in a dryer, so this is something to consider when booking. We also noticed a large amount of dust and debris under one of the beds as though it hadn't been touched in a while. Other than these things, the remainder of the room was spotless. I would strongly suggest this location to any pet owners!

A perfect place for a quick getaway. A must book if you are looking for weekend beach trip. Me, my girlfriend and our dog had a much needed restful experience at Dralington Inn. The staff was amazing and very resourceful about everything. Will definitely book again.

Never again…

Please save yourself the trouble and book elsewhere. The highlight was the person who reached out with check-in instructions. He was pleasant and informative. Unfortunately it was downhill from there. The rooms are in need of major renovations. My young daughter was in tears, literally screaming in fear. The kicker was the person singing George Sink’s “9999999” jingle at the top of her lungs for hours starting at 6a. There obviously is no one / no security on site, at least on the weekends. We were so sleep deprived that we found another place to stay on Saturday night. Buyer beware!

The owner was very nice also patient and considering when it came time to check-in. We was running late to check-in and end up getting after hours which are 4-8pm mind you it’s family own business so we we’re cutting into his dinner and family time end up getting there alittle after 12 am and he still made time to check us in and was very nice about it! Then the location was perfect spot by the boardwalk like literally you walk outside everything was right there perfect beach view. And surprisingly the inside of the room were very cleans and had a mini kitchen inside and all appliances were clean this motel reminded me of a hotel in the Grand thrift auto video game lol. I loved our stay if you need a quick getaway this the motel took book and the price was very reasonable. Rate: 8.75/10!

Waking up to the ocean everyday

Guy called us around 11 in the morning on day we were checking in and told us our room was ready if we wanted to check in early….upon checking in he told me that there was nobody booked in the next day if we wanted to check out late it wasn’t a problem at all…amazing service

Great room in great location

Great older but well kept place near the boardwalk and the beach. Friendly service! The room was spacious with a balcony and a kitchenette. From my second floor room you couldn’t see the ocean view well, but I am sure it was great from the upper floors. Walking distance to numerous services, I didn’t even need my car during my four day stay.

A wonderfully welcoming and sweet hotel

The hotel is older but excellently maintained and well loved. We enjoyed the ocean view and experienced our room as being very welcoming and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. It is a two minute walk to the Myrtle Beach walking path, boardwalk, and beach. If traveling with two pets, you must communicate in advance to get special permission to have two. If difficulty climbing stairs, contact them in advance to get first floor accommodations as there isn’t an elevator. We loved staying at the Darlington and will definitely return!
