CONSTRUCTION!

We would’ve liked to know about the massive and noisy construction going on directly next to us. The piles of dirt completely obstructed our view of the ocean. We had trouble with our toilet….twice. Both times maintenance responded quickly.

Our ocean front suite Consisted of two mounds of dirt from construction on the beach that we weren’t told about. Additionally there was construction in the building we were staying in. The toilet ran all day and all night and leaked along the base. It smelled so bad and I was afraid to even sit on the furniture let alone sleep on the beds. Was so glad I had packed plastic protectors and my own bedding. Checked out a delay early. Will never be vack

We were very excited for the pools and view. But the room was not clean, we were greeted by a computer, and when I asked for housekeeping to come after a Zoom meeting, they showed up right on the middle of my meeting. The location of pools is very inconvenient and not safe to walk to at night.

The town of Myrtle Beach is currently doing a major engineering project on the drainage system which is located directly in front of Dayton House resort. Our room was on the 4th floor, where the hotel was also doing some remodeling. The parking deck was closed and being used to re-stain chairs on the 4th floor. Our room was affected by the fumes greatly and we asked to be placed in another room. The management could do nothing for us! It was very uncomfortable and we will most likely never stay here again. Such a disappointment.
