It was quick and comfortable check in.. staff was nice. city construction going on between the resorts building.. my room was a ocean front but unfortunately right in front the construction was going on.. didn't disturb with noice but little with view. BF was nice.. organized and well managed. Parking was easy to find in the opposite building.. overall good value for money.. my kids enjoyed the pool area very much

I love staying at the Dayton House. The registration desk is busy at check-in but is always smooth and the staff is very friendly and pleasant. The breakfast is good and the staff is welcoming. The Dayton House is a great place to stay.

Service at front desk was awesome! Beyond that. .go somewhere else! I am in a wheelchair, handicapped room was not really handicapped. Couldnt get to the bed after entering the room. Front desk changed our room to another building, handicapped. Yup coulnt get to the oceanview and only to 1 part side of the bed. Ordered up a shower chair, never came!!! All the way from MN, arrived late and this is what we get. Never again.

Around the property was under construction, the water in the pools didn't look blue they looked black! Had to call for towel exchange.

The hotel was older and the doors were hard to close. I literally had to kick the door to get it to shut. Then closing the door was loud and so were the neighbors doors going in and out. But we did feel safe in the area. A lot of things were within walking distance, but there was construction on the Oceanside that made you go out to the street to make it to the other side. Beds were comfy. Room was clean. Staff was nice. There was plenty of parking nearby.

First off I will say the staff was excellent. They were very helpful, polite, and wanted to make sure your stay was a good experience. However, it was disappointing to see all the construction going on at this facility that made things awkward at times. The fact that you are not informed of this when deciding to book with them is basically dishonest. Parking is not a strong suit of theirs either, but maybe some of that will improve in the future. Would I book with them again? Not while the construction is going on. No way. That part should have been disclosed and then let the customer decide where they want to spend their money.
