First of all the staff was friendly and willing to go the extra mile. However, many employees seem to be doing nothing. There were three employees several times just sitting in the rest of you before the street while one would hold the door open. The other were just standing around. The elevator is filthy and stinks. When you walk in the room, it stinks. There are damp and probably mildew under the carpet. The ceramic tile floor is filthy and makes your feet dirty when you walk on it. The chair in the room is also in poor condition. This hotel has a great location and a friendly staff, but is in need of a major upgrade. To me it seems like a lot of people are coming to work and not doing anything.

The room was dirty upon arrival with broken items that we had to tell the front desk about no one came to clean our room in the five days we were there we had to ask for towels and toilet paper

Tv didn’t work, ice machine leaked and didn’t make hard ice, no coffee maker, phone had no connector cord to call anyone to ask for help. Room 449 Otherwise, indoor pool was great as was the hot tub. Ocean front view was great. Beds comfortable.

We paid for an ocean front condo. A roof with ac units, a covered sun lounge area, & the roofs of Ocean Annie's beach bar were between our balcony & the ocean all blocked the ocean view. The waves were barely a purr because of the ac units, pool chatter and Ocean Annie's live music. (The live music was the BEST part of the SOCR. It was excellent! Too bad the rest if the resort wasn't) Our room and the hotel were dated but that would be ok if it was clean. Our room had roaches! Someone sprayed & left 7 roach traps in in full view, We didn't use the stove top because it was so grungy. The drains were filled with gunk. The kitchen and bathroom floors needed mopped & the carpets needed vacuumed. A staff member called housekeeping about the cleanliness but nothing was done. At checkout the clerk said, "Ok. But you did mention it to housekeeping?" No concern at all. The parking garage stairwell are disgusting! Peeling paint, seeping walls, dirty steps. Really gross and we had to use the stairs because the elevator was broken the last 3 days of our visit. (An out of order sign wasn't put on the elevator till the day we left.) Condo owners need to check their units if this company is maintaining and renting their condo. In hind sight we should have asked to change rooms. Our bad. But shame on the resort for not giving us a different condo when they knew we had roaches. A

When picking a room the photos showed a newer looking room with a king bed by the slider. I received a out dated room with 2 dbl beds. To make matters worse there was a window in the bedroom that was into the hallway. The front desk offered no help in finding an alternative. We were there on our honeymoon and had to push the beds together to sleep next to each other. After we rearranged the room we noticed how dirty the place was inc. Pills found strewn about under the bed. So we cleaned the place "very romantic" going downstairs at night is interesting ive never been to a cactus annies but it must be a hit for drinkers the second you go downstairs you are greeted with the overwhelming smells of alcohol, loud music, and staggering patrons. The "fitness center" belongs in a dump. I had to break in the rusty equipment for a good 30min. Before i could use it without the wires catching due to all the rust, the cushions on the equipment was pretty much worn away. Breakfast was ok for $10 per person not inc. Drinks....Basically its not a bad place for the price, we made the best of it but I wouldn't recommend it nor do i plan on returning in the futures

I wish I could give this place a zero rating!!! This place needs a full remodel everything down to the rooms & decor is old & outdated. It stinks has roaches our fridge & fridge were broken, our sink faucet was broken & ran all night until maintenance came, our phone is broken so my husband had to walk down to the desk every time we needed something. The beds are horrendous & need to be replaced ASAP I would rather sleep in a chair sitting up They are old , squeaky, lumpy, bumpy & the pillows (If you want to call them that) are just some balled up cloth stuffed in a pillow case..My back , neck & head are on fire!!! I am highly disappointed..😞

Weekend at the beach

Room was clean and the band on the deck was great. Restaurants and bars great service. Only issue is every hallway, elevator reaked of Pot. Not a smoker and don’t like the smell.

Very outdated. Room 1416 had mold growing on the wall by the hair dryer. Paint was chipping off the bath tub. The sliding door for room 1416 leading to the balcony was difficult to open and lock.

The suite was very outdated. We could frel the springs in the mattress. The stove and refrigerator hadnt been cleaned. The bathroom room mirrors had stains in them. The carpet was worn and dirty. Asked for oceanfront and our view was of the parking garage. The staff was very kind and courteous.
