Great room, great location

I was surprised at the good condition of the hotel. We lived the location, cracker barrel is next door and led than a mile to opry mills. Staff was pleasant. Needed extra pillows though, bring your own. Tv quality was excellent. Most streaming services available. A deal in Nashville, less expensive than some of the rundown hotels.

Front desk staff was very helpful and responded quickly when there was a problem with the TV remote (I had only been in the room about 10 mins). He also noticed the room had a smoke smell and moved me to another room immediately.

Last minute stay. The check in was a little slow and the young man who checked us in made us pay even though expedia had already taken the payment. Expedia was able to refund us though so it worked out. Its an older hotel with some obvious work needed but the beds were super comfortable and we slept well.

Just don’t…..

Walked in, didn’t even get a “hello”. Had to wait for the front desk representative to see if room was ready. When we finally got to the room it was decent enough but when we went to lock the door we noticed that there wasn’t a deadbolt, slide lock or anything other than a door handle lock. We left and requested a refund but the manager never responded to Hotels.com. So we never got one. I didn’t expect the hotel to be anything other than basic but I didn’t expect it to be unsafe.

The staff were very nice, but the hotel has seen better days. There was no hot water (not just our room), so cold showers for all. The rooms said no smoking, but there was what looked like cigarette burns on the comforter and dried buggers on the back of the bathroom door.

As a solo female traveler, i did not feel safe here. They had the electrical key card door locks, but the manual metal security latch on the inside of the door was broken. When i went to the desk to ask if i could change rooms, the attendent was prepared to address the broke latch, having a sample of the electrical key card entry door system and showed me how the deadbolt worked to ensure safety. I stayed one night and then booked another place for the remainder of my stay.

Room service walked in on me and my wife and we were getting out of the shower and when we looked in the room while we were (naked) st that all we seen was room service staring at us very uncomfortable setting didn’t stay the full time

Location for our event was perfect. Remodeling was good but most half a_ _. Our TV the remote didn’t work, no cable could not connect to the internet. I left something from our previous visit and the manager said he would put it in a bag with our name and then no one could find it when we arrived. Desk people were courteous and fun.
