Negatives unfortunately outweighed the positives. Very poor communication and very poor management.
Several reaaons we wouldn't recommend CG:
- Abysmal communication & support, & lies that they never received our emails
- Key pickup/dropoff is inconvenient as at a different location. No one to show us where apt was located in large complex
- They refused to refund our deposit, on the basis of lies and false accusations of us leaving apt in 'deplorable state,' leaving faeces, breaking a blind which was already faulty, and 'using excess linen,' which was freely accessible to use. All lies, and they could not be reasoned with
- No wifi in 1 of the apts
- No pool key for 1 of the apts
- Only 1 pool key provided, and the pool area requires a key to enter AND exit. This is a safety hazard in an emergency
- Very uncomfortable single beds
- Hot water runs out very quickly
- No adequate drying racks for towels/washing
- A man entered our locked apt whilst baby and I were napping. I awoke frightened as I was barely dressed. He said that he wanted to leave us a non urgent letter from the office, which could've easily been taped to the door, or slipped under the door. Better yet, they could've emailed us! We received no apology for this highly inappropriate privacy breach
We are seasoned travellers & reasonable people, and have never had our deposit not refunded. We are disappointed with this experience after an otherwise pleasant trip in Nerja.
Please take their review of us with a grain of salt given their lies, false accusations, and threats to negatively review us
