Booked for one price “all fees included”, was charged extra fee after booking plus was charged extra destination fee at property! Property is under construction but not made known prior to booking! No lobby, no lounge, windows look as last cleaned twenty years ago! Room outdated and poorly kept. Bathroom with paper peeling, stains, floorcracked. Sheets with blood stains. Very dissapointing!

I had high expectations for the Sheraton Times Square based on its location and reputation, but our experience was unfortunately horrible from start to finish. First off, we were never informed that the hotel was undergoing major construction. Half the lobby was closed off, which made getting in and out of the hotel a complete nightmare. Navigating around the blocked-off areas was frustrating and chaotic, and not at all what you'd expect from a property of this caliber. To make matters worse, we waited in line for almost an hour just to check in. When we finally got to our room, we were shocked to find a queen-sized Murphy bed, despite booking—and paying for—a king-sized bed. The room felt cramped, uncomfortable, and nothing like what we were promised. The front desk staff was unfortunately rude and dismissive. It wasn’t until I showed them emails from hotel management confirming that we were supposed to be moved to a king-sized room that they hesitantly agreed to help us. The whole interaction felt like we were bothering them for asking to receive what we had actually paid for. On top of that, the A/C barely worked, which made the room even more uncomfortable. This hotel had come highly recommended, and we had even suggested it to clients of ours visiting the city. It goes without saying—we were completely embarrassed by the experience we and they had here. Save yourself the stress and frustration. The hotel was located a few minutes walking from the Times Square and other major attraction. There was a subway entrance, next to the hotel, we used the transportation and went to china town/little Italy.
