Beautiful ideally placed hotel. If you're in New York you spend most of your time out doors, but this place had me enjoying inside as well. Beautifil lobby, room service, exceptional bellman, etc. If you want history, charm, in the hart of NYC this will not dissappoint. Highly recommended.

The first night was great. The second night, a door or something kept slamming outside of my room (1619) and it was very loud and impacted my sleep. There was an exit door next to the room and I that may have been the cause. It was awful

Rooms were clean but basic. No cups for tea/coffee and limited milk. One of the tv’s did not work (not that we came to New York to watch tv). Decent neighbourhood, around a mile from Times Square, 1.5 miles from Central Park. Rooms were expensive but that is New York

No breakfast. There is a bar and some snacks you can purchase but it’s expensive. Alot of homeless people sleep on the roads by this hotel. Also I had a king luxe balcony room and it didn’t get down to cooling temp much the balcony door puts off alot of heat. My room was hot during day. But everything else was good.
