I like the fact that the hotel was located right by Grand Central Station which allowed me to catch 7 train straight to the US Open. I would recommend and definitely stay again!

The rooms are cozy and have an interesting design that some may enjoy. They are however very small, it is NY after all. The elevator was quite loud and we could hear it from the room. We asked for a transfer which they kindly accommodated. No pool, again NY, and no restaurant onsite. Plenty of eateries nearby. The staff was helpful. Nothing to call home about but will definitely stay again.

The room was extremely small but it worked for our needs. The bed however, was way too soft. Location was in walking distance of a lot, including Times Square, Grand Central Station and a few vlocks from the U.S. Embassy.

Great location - quick walk to grand central. Hotel has a charming, less hectic atmosphere than the mega hotels west of this property. Clean, great service, safe, excellent bar on property. This is our 2nd stay here. Will definitely be back!

Loved our stay at Westgate, staff was very friendly and our room was nice. Hotel is clean and close(walkable) to many of the landmarks and subways. Times Square, Grand Central, Rockefeller Plaza, etc. I will definitely return again.

replace the sofa

my only issue was the sofa in the living room was a little bit to generic and rubbery! When you pay for a suite, you want something soft and comfortable that sofa was not that!

Quiet location very close to Grand Central Station

The room was very comfortable and quiet. Like other guests, I found the $40 per night "resort fee" steep for bottled water, access to the (small hotel) gym and not much else. But this a nice hotel in a good location and I would stay here again.
