Love the hotel. So close to boardwalk. Pool is only 3 ft deep, cut my granddaughters feet and other kids feet too. Laundry situation is bad. One washer and dryer for whole hotel. They won’t give you change.

Great pool. Great rooms. So close to the boardwalk! Only complaint (cost them a star) is they won’t give change for laundry, will tell you to use the game room to get change, knowing the change machine doesn’t work and they tell you after that they won’t help you get your money back. It steals your money. Wondering if they get a cut.

We enjoyed our stay at the Monte Carlo. The staff were professional, the communication was outstanding, check in and check out process was easy and seamless. The room was clean with updated furnishings, carpet, and tiled floor. Bed and pillows were comfortable. We appreciated the hotel's policy of no smoking of any kind permitted on or in the property. Easy to walk to everything. We loved the rooftop bar and pool (perfect view of sunsets). Our only recommendations would be to update the shower and showerheads. The showerhead was stationary and small. We could see the pipe protruding from the drywall. Overall, a nice place to stay for families, couples, and groups of friends.

The Monte Carlo was wayyyyy better than we expected. Room was super clean and the staff was great. Less then a block from the boardwalk and having multiple pools and a game room this place had everything we could have wanted.

Check-in was an awful experience. Three guests were registered but the room only had two bath towels. No hand towels or washcloths were provided. When I asked for an extra bath towel I was told there weren’t any left.

Our first room we had to move from because the carpet was soaked from leaking Air Conditioner. Our second room wasn't much better. Toilet was completely loose from floor, House service was terrible. Took the dirty linens but didn't replace all of them. Made the Bed but only pulled blankets over ruffled sheets. Found a Joint on our Balcony. Front Desk Staff was nice. Not a very nice experience at all. Hotel needs major improvements. Not worth the price per night. We wouldn't recommend to anyone and we will not return. Also heard many other people there complaining of the same issues. 1 star Hotel would be a stretch.

Pros 2 minute walk to the beach price Staff was friendly Cons Outdated 1 elevator Small bathroom with poor water pressure & lighting Pull out bed was obviously dirty Had to ask multiple times over about 4 hours for sheets for the pullout bed Parking is available but not onsite unless you want to pay. We paid and then never drove which worked for us but we saw others who also paid but would leave and then didn’t have parking once they returned.

Property was nice everything was walkable rooms where clean and everything was in good working order only thing I didn’t like that there was only one elevator so if it was a busy day you might have to wait but that wasn’t a deal breaker for me would stay here again
